What happens to that Telsa that was launched into space?
In space no one can hear your battery explode.
Hello.
Aliens take it back to their anthropological museum where crowds will laugh at those primitives on Earth.
"TELSA"
Not only does he not give a fuck about requisite Alt-Text, Britches don't know how to use no gol-danged spell-checker,either.
He also used further when he meant farther. Spellcheck won't be enough to placate you people.
The internet pivots to video.
Tell me about it.
"...Or Chatroulette - that was social media, and then they pivoted to become a playground for the sexually monstrous."
Your YouTube collection is extremely unimpressive.
You misspelled "delightful."

I remember some kind of video chat in a dude's dorm room in college in about 1994 or 1995 and the first thing they did was try to talk chicks into showing them their boobs.
I've long suspected that the first pornographic film was made within minutes after the first movie camera was sold.
Heavy Metal (Takin' a Ride)
And not a bad movie, either.
Republicans are the worstest.
California Assemblywoman taking "leave of absence" during investigation into sexual misconduct.
Now wait a minute. No one said that this was going to be turned around on women.
Hm, who knew that #MeToo would end up meaning "Imma Get Me Some As Well"?
A little further North, an Oregon State Senator resigns over groping allegations.
Further north? Does that mean boobs?
Nope. Foreheads.
So mushroom stamps?
Vagina. Its always vagina.
Vagina good.
Penis bad.
Wait, wait, wait ...
It's aaaaaaalllllll good, bro.
Democrats call for $1 trillion dollar infrastructure plan that manages to promise both less investment than Trump's while costing taxpayers five times as much.
They're bored of winning already.
Give me DACA or give me zzzzzzzzzzzzz....
That was the shortest attention span on a hot button political topic that I have seen in a long time.
Its like the Democrats know they were beat on DACA, so move on back to impeachment?
Well, the poor kittens are emotionally drained. Between the nightmare The Dreamers and keeping Leviathan on it's feet, Team Blue has given and given and given.
Democrats call for $1 trillion dollar infrastructure plan that manages to promise both less investment than Trump's while costing taxpayers five times as much.
Woke ain't cheap.
This one isn't paid for with Nazibucks.
Did they find the Nazi gold train? The socialists have been itching to spend that for decades.
Amazon launches delivery service to compete with UPS, FedEx.
Wake me when they launch something that let's me read WSJ articles.
Why?
Why don't they just buy one of them?
USPS, FedEx, and UPS lose shit all the time.
Amazon has GPS located scanners for delivery drivers to make sure package are scanned at the correct address.
Based on my experience this past Christmas, those scanners don't work too well.
Also, I would be surprised if FedEx and UPS hadn't thought of tracking the packages. My guess is it's a more complex problem then we know.
Yeah.
Fucking Porch Pirates.
"Based on my experience this past Christmas, those scanners don't work too well."
Also doens't help when the Amazon driver tosses the package under the hedge and drives off. Plenty of people walking down the street are willing to pick up a package in a public place like that.
Only took 3 episodes before the driver learned to RING THE DAMN DOORBELL!
What happens to that Telsa that was launched into space?
It will re-enter the Earth's atmosphere over northern Eurasia and crush a number of unimpressed Russians to death.
It will get stripped for parts on the way down.

Tell us, Britches, do you grammar?
Future Senior Asst. Editor for both Hit and Run.
Popehat got double-teamed by H&R luminaries. Tweet one:
Three guesses as to who that commenter is.
Followed by tweet two, which is responding to the following. From context, I don't think you'll need more than one guess as to who popped up:
Whoa, further down the thread of tweet one, Britches addresses Reason commenters.
Hah, yeah, though I was hoping for a more specific complaint from him. Even when he shits on us, he lets us down!
Britches can take his opinions, bake them into a cake, and send them to his mother.
I liked: ""Never read the Reason comments" -Preet Bharara"
This is hardly the cesspool of its reputation, imo. Perhaps I'm hardened from spending time on literally any comments section linked by Drudge. This place only has very intermittent "let's kill all the Jews" stuff.
Yeah, Sheldon Rchman only has an article on here once a week or so.
To be clear, Tony supports killing Jews so long as there is a law passed making it legal.
You miss-spelled Al-Jazeera
No, no. Trump's base are not merely pro-Palestinian (it's not!), they actually want to kill all the Jews.
Huh. John Twits under his real name.
Seems like he's abandoned H&R again. I wonder if glibers let him back in, or if he just goes around harassing people on Twitter now.
Well, I hope he's doing okay either way. He always has a home here, because no one is too low for us.
Word.
In the end, DD was just being himself, Popehat was the one who truly debased himself by coming into the comments section. The lesson here, is never read anything anyone else writes.
That's already our motto.
Ah, Domestic Dissident and John going to head to head with Popehat. That was worth a few good laughs.
Bo Cara, Esq.?
John? I know he had some animosity towards Popehat.
Ok, this one made me laugh.
You know who else has been voting for the same party for "generations" and is still poor and oppressed?
It's also a tautology that poor people are poor.
Though I seem to recall MJGreen had something to say about previous generations of a certain poor and oppressed group.
What happens to that Telsa that was launched into space?
It learns to spell?
California Assemblywoman taking "leave of absence" during investigation into sexual misconduct.
So she can "spend more time" with her "family".
Dubbed "Shipping with Amazon," or SWA, the new service will entail the tech giant picking up packages from businesses
, with two levels available: Basic, or SWAK; and Prime, or SWAF.
"I would like the MILF SWAF, please."
Hey, where is everyone? Is Pelosi on C-SPAN, or what?
Doing laundry. I hate doing laundry.
It's the pods, isn't it?
They're hard to chew.
Pro tip: Boil'em first.
"" Is Pelosi on C-SPAN, or what?"'
Is that a new dementia drug?
Uhm, Trump's doesn't promise any investment. His promises to take your money at gunpoint and give it to special interests and other politicians (so they can give it to special interests lobbying *them*) in a bid to increase his own political power.
Same as the Democratic one.
Trump wants $1 trillion too but with state and local governments and private companies footing the rest of the bill. So the same cost. And I don't know what you mean by less investment. Less toll roads and profits for private companies?
It means less federal taxpayer money ($200 billion) will be used. Let states work out with companies to fund road projects. The Democrats want straight $1 Trillion in taxpayer money to be used.
Its a push toward federalism and I know that scares the living shit out of you.
You do know that state and local governments don't get money from the free money store, right?
They have to work hard threatening their citizens into paying that money. Do you know how tough it is to put liens on retirees homes? There's like paperwork and shit.
At least there's a decent chance people who Oregon takes its money from to build bridges in Oregon are actually the same people who will use the bridge.
Federal infrastructure spending however is inevitable mostly redistribution from some regions to others.
Meh.
How dare any of us not be made to pay for roads only other people use! That's not fair!
Fox News is upset that the Olympics aren't whites only:
Fox News pulls executive's column slamming focus on 'darker, gayer' Olympics
Looks like the guy gave his opinion that the Olympics have become a diversity competition rather than athletic competition.
"Unless it's changed overnight, the motto of the Olympics, since 1894, has been 'Faster, Higher, Stronger,'" Moody wrote. "It appears the U.S. Olympic Committee would like to change that to 'Darker, Gayer, Different.' If your goal is to win medals, that won't work."
Moody went on to deride the US Olympic Committee for boasting about how this year's team was "the most diverse" ever sent to the Winter Olympics.
I am so shocked lc showed up to defend this.
I don't want to shatter any illusions, but it's freaking figure skating. They're just out of the closet now.
Wait, wait... hold on a second. When was figure skating ever in the closet?
The Dick Button era.
Only if he didn't talk,.
The most diverse ever? Were they excluding a bunch of countries before? Or are some countries sending more athletes this time?
This was the US Olympic Committee referring specifically to the US team.
Have they considered having skill be the determining factor?
Otherwise, when are they going to 'whiten' the basket team?
Basketball
"No sport that we are aware of awards points -- or medals -- for skin color or sexual orientation."
"Hey, thanks for the idea!" tweeted the OC.
Sponsors on the other hand...
... and College Admission Boards ...
And the Nobel committee.
I don't know if he's ever seen the Olympics, because it's been awful dark and awful gay for awhile now.
Not from Glorious Team Russia! You can't spell Commonwealth of Independent States without cis.
Is figure skating even a real sport?
No. It is an athletic exhibition requiring incredible balance and agility, similar to ballet.
But for some reason when ballet dancers put on ice skates, it's suddenly a "sport".
If it needs a judge, it ain't a sport.
Time it, or count the objective points.
That's a pretty radical position there partner.
By that definition, there's no such thing as a sport.
"In my lived experience, I scored a touchdown there."
"...count the objective points."
But you need a judge to do that. I suppose one day automation will solve that problem.
The Olympics are on?
So if someone said they want a whiter, straighter event, and someone else expressed disapproval, you'd accuse the latter of racism?

The internet pivots to video.
I'm so fucking sick of looking up how to do something with some bit of software or my phone or something like that and all I get is a list of 20 shitty 10-min youtube videos of some mumbling dork who has no idea how to get to the fucking point when it could have been put in a short bullet list that would take 10 seconds to read.
100% agree. Particularly when written lists with pictures are BETTER when you're doing a task that might have a large amount of work time in between steps.
Nah man. Work that spacebar with the free hand that you clearly have.
My favorite are the ones that are just still images floating behind text. As in, an article, but in video form. And it autoplays!
I agree, it has its downsides. I mainly go to videos now because I don't need to read 14 listicles and hit a next page button to read each step.
But yeah, there's nothing more rage-inducing than to listen to some pubescent tween mumble incoherently with an out-of-focus video that doesn't actually solve the problem.
"So.... huhhhh... you need to unscrew this..."
*phone's shadow covers entire area, camera can't focus*
"this little thing right here, yeah? Okay, so you do that..."
Complete agreement here.
Video is for people who move their lips when they look at pictures.
Rick Santorum's worst nightmare arrives:

"The internet pivots to video.". News sites are to blame too. I hate clicking on news story to read an article then having some damned ad or on air reporter start blathering.
Who the fuck is Logan Paul, why is he always in the news, and why does he look like such a douche? Is he like the Millennial version of Jackass, except someone my daughter would kill in a fair fight?
I don't know. I only heard about him because he posted a video of a guy who suicided in Japan. Which is, he did a travel log, and they went and camped in these woods famous for suicides, and found a corpse which was included in their video.
I guess he's done something annoying again.
Does he comb his hair with a balloon?
I didn't know until the suicide forest thing, and then I forgot until you mentioned him again.
Is he like the Millennial version of Jackass.
Yes, and no small chunk of his fans will soon be voting. Ridiculous. People born in 2000 are still in elementary school, I think.
Still, your link taught me of the budding career of "influencers," which is pretty interesting. Capitalism creates the weirdest shit; I read about a wifi-connected vibrator in VC earlier.
Good stuff.
