Lock. Him. Up.
Ha. The idea that they had some right to withhold emails that they exchanged and stored on government servers is pretty hilarious.
THE PRESIDENT HADN'T HAD A CHANCE TO READ THEM YET BEFORE THEY WERE SNATCHED AWAY.
I only wish that he saw expanding law enforcement powers is the reason for them to do these things instead of they are just picking on me. He will argue that he had a 4th amendment right that was violated when the government gave the government his papers but for an everyday citizen jacked up by the cops, thugs getting what they deserve.

THE harassment.
Makes me think of that Norm joke.

So you're saying the GG's should give her an award to shut her up?

I don't see why. She was the only one speaking out about him publicly for years. She has every right to be really, really pissed off about what her fellow actresses didn't say.

No link to STEVE SMITH was ever discovered, and the program was shut down after several dozen researchers became horribly violated.
Just because there was anal probing doesn't mean STEVE SMITH was involved.

When a man, like John Oliver, does something like this he decimates or obliterates but poor female Rose McGowan can only muster a slamming? For shame, Krayewski.
Real Talk: i don't know why, but the constant and ubiquitous misuse of of the word "decimation" has been really irksome lately. If you decimate something you're destroying 1/10th of it. It doesn't mean utter desolation the way people seem to want it to. Frankly, if tax withholding merely decimated my paycheck every few weeks, i'd be ecstatic.
Your pedantry is literally excruciating.

Trump administration reverses course on Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac - now want to make them "built to last" after Obama called to wind them both down.
Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin, who has frequently cited his experience in the mortgage market from his days with Goldman Sachs Group Inc., in November gave support to keeping the two companies, saying he doesn't support an approach favored by some conservatives to abolish them.
"No, I wouldn't," he said in an interview at November's Wall Street Journal CEO Council meeting. "We have got to make sure that the housing system is built to last."

What a genius.
This is the remedial mind that thought arming ISIS's allies in an effort to depose Assad in order to stick to the Russians and as a pretext for war was a *winning* strategy, destabilized Libya with the help of Hillary; much like how Bush upended Iraq, let ISIS grow in size and power, removed Mubarak in Egypt only to watch the Muslim Brotherhood get into power, and now this.
And people still this guy was smart?
think
destabilized Libya with the help of Hillary; much like how Bush upended Iraq
IRAQ = LIBYA! JUST ALIKE!
That is the kind of wingnut idiocy I have pointed out for years.
Iraq was a genuine clusterfuck which costs US taxpayers over $2 trillion and 4500 US lives. Libya was neither and the Middle East has been unstable for centuries.
Obama's "Don't Do Stupid Shit" policy was right for the time.
Oh, and by the way. "Don't Do Stupid Shit" is the least we should expect in foreign policy.
If these Islamic assholes want to blow each other up - let them do it.
Obama DID STUPID SHIT. That's the point. It just came in a bow and ribbon and you accepted it.
No, idiot. Iraq was stupid shit when we put 250,000 troops in there to build a nation for "democracy".
NATO was just air support to back up a people's uprising to overthrow a Libyan dictator.
They are NOT ALIKE at all.
Iraq didn't cause a "global refugee crisis".
Libya did.
Iraq didn't kill the entire concept of disarmament.
Libya did.
In no way was Libya less of an epic clusterfuck than Iraq. You just like the morons who pursued it.
Yes it is you moron. How is it any different? They both knocked out a dictator that kept their countries in check with on-going ramifications - eg ISIS in Iraq and migrant crisis and civil war in Libya. Italy has to have a military presence in Libya just to contain the flow of migrants.
You're just being a partisan patsy by playing it like this.
The large majority of Euro refugees are coming from Syria, you idiot. A country Obama avoided military action with.
Go back to Bratfart and take Sevo with you. You just mouth their idiocy here.
You aren't fit to wear his muk luks Buttplug. Rufus has wrestled more bears than you have "wrastled" shitty personalities.
Which was really "stupid"?
Iraq or Libya?
You won't have the balls to answer that question with sincerity.
Both.
Now suck my balls.
Now suck my balls.
You just proved that you don't have a pair.
One simple question and you ran away.
I answered and gave you a treat. No wonder nobody likes you.
I don't know why you people bother.
Is it your contention that they can't both be stupid?
Is it your contention that they can't both be stupid?
They're not both stupid. The world doesn't miss Qaddafi although Rufus might since Dotard and Qaddafi are cut from the same cloth.
NATO/USA just provided air support. That is all.
No "nation-building", no 250,000 troop occupation, nothing else.
Destabilization for everybody! /Obama Winfrey
You miss Hussein?
Really?
Remember the Southpark Satan and Hussein skit? PB was/is/always has been Satan.
Oh, i see. A libertarian's idea of "not stupid" would most likely include not getting militarily involved at all in the, as you point out, chronically unstable Middle East, but your idea of "not stupid" is certainly a perspective as well.
A libertarian's idea of "not stupid" would most likely include not getting militarily involved
Sure, Obama was most libertarian on Syria (by not getting involved) and Iraq (by getting out) and Iran (by non-nuking it).
So he scored high on the libertarian FP test - but not as high as he could have.
Are you on drugs? He wanted to bomb Syria. He armed rebel factions aligned with ISIS because he wanted Assad (who Kerry and Hillary considered a friend at one point I might add) out.
Libertarian. Obama? lololololololol. He's a treacherous weasel is what he was.
Sure, Obama was most libertarian on Syria (by not getting involved)
He had every intention of getting involved. He politicked for months to get involved. He outright stated that if Congress did not give him authority to get involved, he would illegally get involved anyway. ONLY Putin pulling down Obama's pants and spanking his ass in front of the whole world kept Obama from getting us MORE involved (we obviously were VERY Involved, even if Putin kept Obama from invading with a full force).
and Iraq (by getting out)
He didn't get out of Iraq. Bush arranged the SOFA that forced our exit, which Obama tried to avoid. Obama wanted to stay in Iraq, but the Iraqis wouldn't let him.
And he ended up going back in anyway.
and Iran (by non-nuking it).
Only a warmongering authoritarian piece of shit like Obama (and you) could think that NOT nuking a sovereign nation who has committed no acts of aggression against you, but instead making a laughable cronyist deal with them that there is little-to-no chance they honor long-term, is somehow a moment of intelligent foreign policy.
Palin conveniently overlooks Obama's surge.
The word doesn't miss Hussein either but it doesn't stop you from railing against Bush.
Both were unwise moves. Period.
And under Obama's watch ISIS grew in power and his actions in Egypt and Libya caused a world migrant crisis to the point Europe took the hit.
But keep your head up your ass.
Your ignorance is breathtaking. The source of Italy's (and I believe Greece) problem is Libya; that's why they sent a military presence there.
You're an idiot, Rufus.
http://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-34131911
this article gives the route and source of the refugee crisis and Libya is not in the top ten.
I specifically said 'Italy sent a military (Navy) ship to Libya because IT has a problem there.
But still a major international problem:
http://bit.ly/2BIiSyy
Point being, had Obama not bothered with it, it would be one less problem.
"Obama didn't use a bunch of American troops!" is a coward's argument.
If you're too much of a coward to risk American boys and girls coming home in a box, maybe it's not that important that you burn some brown children alive at this time.
The argument that Libya is better because we just roasted a bunch of innocents and destroyed a self-sustaining regime without putting any of our own skin in is the most illiberal, un-American, tyrannical piece of cowardly horseshit argumentation I've ever read, as someone who served and lost brothers in actual combat.
If you're too much of a coward to risk American boys and girls coming home in a box, maybe it's not that important that you burn some brown children alive at this time.
This is something I wish more people thought about. If it's not worth risking American lives, than maybe we shouldn't be fucking around by sending a bunch of remote controlled robots armed with missiles into the area.
I'm not a big fan of modern 'warfare'. It's the ultimate manifestation of economic warfare, in that we're literally sending money over there in the form of unmanned robots to kill people.
We're not out troops, we're out dollars. Disgusting stuff, but as Obama proved the populace will swallow it.
The alien story is interesting, and might be some sort of first step in full disclosure. I'm quite certain the military has been researching aliens for many decades now. Not at all surprised to read that Harry Reid concocted some study to funnel millions to his friend. Wish his brother would have finished the job when he kicked his ass.
What's up with that ridiculous panic that has erupted over stories that the CDC and other federal agencies have been told to avoid certain words in its budget proposal to Congress? Federal agencies always try to paint their budget proposals in the most favorable light. It's basically a sales pitch; anybody who sells anything avoids using words that piss off the prospective customer.
Progs are going on like its an attempt to completely erase the words from the English language. Aggh Newspeak! Please. Besides, progs are in favor of Newspeak; they just want control of which words get erased.
Fine. As long as you're happy to clean up the pile of corpses that will litter the streets after "health" is destroyed.
Everybody will already be dead after the tax bill is signed. Just ask Nancy Pelosi! And if they pass Concealed Carry Reciprocity that will take care of the stragglers. Again according to Nancy.
Moobs is having a s--t-fit because the TSA isn't guarding the subways yet so I'll be dead before any of that anyway.
tit fit?
I have a friend that used to go all conspiracy theory on the TSA getting armed and guarding the railroads, subways, etc. Essentially turning them into a national transit police...seems maybe not so far fetched?
The government is now actually testing bomb-sniffing devices in cities like LA and Boston but not NYC (hence Moobs' anger at being left out of the fun). There is no way this doesn't eventually lead to TSA lines to get on the subway.
There is no way this doesn't eventually lead to TSA lines to get on the subway.
Absolutely, this is the trajectory. They are already our friendly neighborhood Brown Shirts.
Papers, please?
And the poor terrorists will need to just make due with killing all the people in the lines outside the TSA. Poor dudes won't even get the juicy targets of...or wait a second does this actually help? Hmm...maybe not! But it's 'doing something' so 'this must be done'.
Everybody will already be dead after the tax bill is signed.

The Clive Bundy trial is probably FUBAR. The judge has sent the jurors home over the government withholding exculpatory evidence from the defense, including an internal investigation that found gross misconduct and the illegal withholding of evidence from the investigation that led to the charges being heard against Bundy. The question being debated right now is whether to declare a mistrial or whether to dismiss the charges against Bundy.
"The memo comes from Larry Wooten, who had been the lead case agent and investigator for the U.S. Bureau of Land Management after the tense confrontation outside the patriarch's ranch near Bunkerville. Wooten also testified before a federal grand jury that returned indictments against the Bundys. He said he was removed from the investigation last February after he complained to the U.S. Attorney's Office in Nevada.
Then last month he sent a whistleblower email to the U.S. Department of Justice, alleging a "widespread pattern of bad judgment, lack of discipline, incredible bias, unprofessionalism and misconduct, as well as likely policy, ethical and legal violations among senior and supervisory staff" at the Bureau of Land Management's Office of Law Enforcement and Security."

Read the article yourself. The allegations of misconduct are too many to fit into one post. Suffice it to say, exculpatory evidence was confiscated from an investigator because it was embarrassing to BLM higher ups, and there is no way to tell whether that exculpatory evidence will ever rematerialize in unaltered form.
I don't see how the DoJ can even file these charges again in good faith.
I don't see how the DoJ can even file these charges again in good faith.
Because FYTW?
The DoJ does love a challenge.
Yeah, they can do it in bad faith, but right now it's not their misconduct. It's the BLM's.
The DoJ is probably hoping the charges are dismissed. It'll save them from the embarrassment of not filing them again.
Just ask yourself 'why does the BLM have it's own cops anyway' and you'll start down the rabbit hole of 'how many cops with various acronyms do we really need, anyway'?
What's the point of the FBI, if their job is being done by dozens if not hundreds of other overlapping agencies?
a "widespread pattern of bad judgment, lack of discipline, incredible bias, unprofessionalism and misconduct, as well as likely policy, ethical and legal violations among senior and supervisory staff"
But, other than that, things are kosher.

About fifteen years ago.
I'd say odds that he never returns to D.C. are better than 50/50.
Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) has left Washington for the Christmas holiday before a vote on the tax bill.
Speaking of people who should resign from the senate...
Yeah, it sucks when the FBI uses a third party to collect your private communications without a warrant. Doesn't it!?
The DOW is up 200 points this morning as I post this. Time for that old favorite from Paul Krugman, circa 11/9/16.
"It really does now look like President Donald J. Trump, and markets are plunging. When might we expect them to recover?
Frankly, I find it hard to care much, even though this is my specialty. The disaster for America and the world has so many aspects that the economic ramifications are way down my list of things to fear.
Still, I guess people want an answer: If the question is when markets will recover, a first-pass answer is never."
Krugman was no doubt stupid for writing that. Any fool could see the economic conditions Dotard inherited were excellent, the market had been setting records for years, and the entire world had recovered from the Financial Collapse of 2008/09.
Turd makes a fool of himself once more!
Way to go, turd!
I am 100% factually correct, you mouth-breathing moron.
Unless you want to defend Krugman and his stupid statement.
Not disagreeing with you here. The quote says more about Krugman than Trump. One, the Dow futures were down 800 overnight, and Krugman was hysterical and already suffering from TDS. Two, if instead of Trump winning the election, Obama had just won a third term, can you imagine him posting the same statement?
Obama had just won a third term, can you imagine him posting the same statement?
Of course not.
Krugman is a rabid partisan who deserves scrutiny. He is right sometimes too.
The difference is that Krugman is educated unlike the rabid partisans like Fat Rush Limbaugh (Praise Be Unto Him).
"The difference is that Krugman is educated"
So he makes educated stupid predictions and turd finds those oh so much better than uneducated stupid predictions!
Turd makes a fool of himself once more!

= ~33% increase in a year.

Hahahahahhahahahha......
And Obama policy is still 100% in effect. Dotard has done nothing in the form of legislation.
Sure, you can fish with mercury laced bait now - some "deregulation" that is.

Turd makes an ass of himself once more!

Stock prices are about expectations of forward earnings.
The reason the market rallied when Trump was elected was because he promised to slash regulation and taxes.
Looking forward, the markets realized that profits would increase because of that.
Since then, Trump has slashed regulation like crazy--claims to have eliminated some 20 regulations for every new one--and, furthermore, as I posted a link to the other day, the Federal Register has decreased in size by 32% since Trump was elected.
Now, the market is looking forward to future earnings based on the tax reform plan passing the senate--and Trump signing it--which cuts corporate taxes by upwards of 40%.
That is why the market has rallied.
Hillary Clinton would not have slashed regulation like crazy.
Hillary Clinton would not have signed a bill to cut corporate taxes by 40%.
The stock market is rallying because of Trump's policies. The stock market is rallying because we've turned our backs on the Obama era regulations.
Any other interpretation makes you look even sillier than usual, Shrike.
I thought it was only the "rate of increase in the size of the thing" that's shrinking.
The Federal Register is about new and proposed regulation.
It's 32% smaller by page count for 2017 than it was for Obama year 2016.
"Obama's final year in office the Federal Register, which contains new and proposed rules and regulations, ran to 95,894 pages, according to a Competitive Enterprise Institute report. This was the highest level in its history and 19% higher than the previous year's 80,260 pages . . . . President Trump has charted a new course, prioritizing the removal of red tape and rolling back regulations through executive orders. The Federal Register page count is down 32% this year.
----WSJ
https://tinyurl.com/y9yplchz
Trump has eliminated a tremendous amount of old regulation as well. Slashing new regulation down is just one metric.
Because we don't like Trump for immigration, or whatever, is no reason not to give him credit for what he gets right, and it's hard to imagine anyone doing better on regulation his first year in office.
Ah, OK.
I couldn't agree more.
Stock prices are about expectations of forward earnings.
Yes, this statement is correct.
But the S&P 500 rallied far more under Obama than is has with Trump.
So Obama did more for the economy by saving it from collapse than Trump has done with a statutory rate decrease (the effective tax rate on corporate America was 18-19% before this year).
But the S&P 500 rallied far more under Obama than is has with Trump.
What you're doing is calling "shifting the goalposts".
Besides, you're counting 8 years vs. 1 year and comparing rallying from the lows of the "crisis" to rallying from near the highest levels under Obama.
+1
"What you're doing is calling "shifting the goalposts"."
If it's honest and in good faith, it's not a turd post.
Turd NEVER posts honestly. NEVER.
Obama was in office for eight years, and he came in right after the mortgage crisis had devastated the market. It was at a low in the economic cycle.
From my link above . . .
"U.S. markets have added $6 trillion in value since the election [of Trump]"
Again, it's important to note that this growth is specifically because Trump is undoing so much of Obama's stupid regulation.
When the economy grew despite Obama heaping regulation on it, it was in spite of that regulation--not because of it. The economic growth that we're experiencing under Trump is because he's undoing the stupid things Obama did--not in spite of it.
There isn't anything about adding a regulatory and compliance burden on the economy that makes businesses more profitable. Anyone who thinks otherwise is a fucking idiot.
Anyone who thinks otherwise and says so in public is too stupid to know how embarrassing they are. If you say something that stupid to your boss, don't be surprised if he fires you or you stay in the mail room for the rest of your life.
Dotard has done nothing in the form of legislation.
The speculative gains did not come from existing legislation, but from the hope of proposed legislation, namely corporate tax cuts, slashing of regulations, and health care "reform".
