26 people were killed during a church service in Texas.
I can't wait to see what manages to knock this out of the news cycle.
Yeah, that's almost as many people as Chicago loses in a week.

Hello.
Those tolerant lefties were at it again I see.
Rufus, did you watch GSP fight on Sat, or were you the only Canadian that didn't?
No I didn't. I don't watch MMA.
In any event I hear he fought after 1:30am or some stupid idiotic thing?
It was epic. The final 3 fights were MMA awesomeness.
Yes, it was one of the best UFC cards ever.
What do you a actually "see" to pin this one on "leftists"?
Like leftists, he killed people that disagree with him.
"I can't wait to see what manages to knock this out of the news cycle"
I hope it's more articles about what Bill Weld is doing these days.
Maybe Hollywood can squeeze out another rapist or two.
The Robert Mueller probe is reportedly zeroing in on the former national security advisor Michael Flynn.
How pedestrian.
I think we already established Make America Gait Again, didn't we?
Anybody else first see that as "Make America Galt Again"?
At least 17 princes and other high-ranking officials were arrested as part of a massive corruption probe in Saudi Arabia.
So they're down to, what, 852 princes now?
At least we can be assured those 852 princes are squeaky clean.
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) was assaulted at his home in Bowling Green.
Looks like this politician...
[dons sunglasses]
...was bowled over.
The donning of the sunglasses should go after "was."
Judgment call. And yours is WRONG.
and he was bowled over while mowing his lawn, which was....
green.
A ground invasion is the only way to rid North Korea of its nuclear weapons, according to the Pentagon.
A land war in Asia?
It's better than challenging a Sicilian when death is on the line.
Sounds like a famous classic blunder.
"You fool! You fell victim to one of the classic blunders...", says the Sicilian.
I don't get the reference.
The Princess Bride.
Dear God, give me strength.
Here, use my iocane powder. It'll be quick.
But I know something you don't know.
I'm not left-handed either.
The lawmakers say if President Trump does intend to pursue a military option against North Korea, he must come to Congress as required by the Constitution.
*** rolls eyes ***
"... at which point we will immediately abdicate our constitutional warmaking responsibility and give him carte blanche to do whatever he wants."
Harry Truman didn't bother getting a declaration of war against the Norks, did he?
-jcr
It was a police action, so no worry.
It was a police action all the way to the Chinese border.
A police action outside federal jurisdiction.
[picks up Rich's eyes and rolls them back to him]
Thanks, Chipper! I thought I had stepped on one, but now I see it was only a grape!
Aren't we still at war with NorKor?
We have always been at war with NorKor.
And always will be. World without end. Amen. Amen.
If we airdrop Islamists into North Korea, I think we have a plausible chance of using the 9/11 AUMF to invade...
At least 17 princes and other high-ranking officials were arrested as part of a massive corruption probe in Saudi Arabia.
Someone's cleaning (Saud) house.
If they never would have announced that they were going to let women drive, this wouldn't have happened. Those enlightened princes did this to themselves.
At least 17 princes and other high-ranking officials were arrested as part of a massive corruption probe in Saudi Arabia.
Wow, someone finally figured out that Alaweed, Ganjaweed, Dickweed, and all the rest of the weeds over there are no good? Congratulations, took long enough.
Either that, or it's just a power play to replace one gang of crooks with another.
-jcr
I hope it turns out that those 17's corruption charges involve being nice to women and expressing Western values.
The Robert Mueller probe is reportedly zeroing in on the former national security advisor Michael Flynn.
Looks like Mueller's investigative team is...
( ?_?)>??-?
(??_?)
...in like Flynn.
That's how you do it.
What are you, some kind of Caruso expert?
YEEEEAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH!
President Trump met with the emperor of Japan.
He has tremendous respect for a nation that would have an emperor.
My first thought at seeing that photo above: regardless of what else Trump shits the national bed about, it's heartening to see a president NOT bowing to foreign potentates.
Plus, with Diana long dead, he's likely angling for some Japanese princess to add to his list.
"The Robert Mueller probe is reportedly zeroing in on the former national security advisor Michael Flynn."
Any chance they'll zero in on a former Secretary of State?
Hsst! That's the 'big fish'!
Not likely. She already broke those laws, so there is no use digging up the past.
Unless you have a statue of her and then history must be erased.
They might go after Tillerson, yes.
Donna Brazile: People Telling Me to 'Shut Up' Can 'Go to Hell'
'Indeed, they can suck my ever-lovin' left nostril!'
Might as well go out with a bang.
Each of her revelations make her look worse than Hillary (is that possible?)
In what way?
She was a willing participant in Hillary's corruption until Hillary lost. She was exposed as a cheat herself a long time ago. This is just blame-game image rehab, just like Hillary's book tour.
Yeah, she's obviously covering her ass, but if you read the MOA the DNC did with Hillary, it backs up everything she says about the deal. They turned the party into Hillary, Inc. and now they can't move on from her because she's paying their bills.
The best part is that she threw Obama under the bus too, by pointing out that he left the party over $20 million in debt which is why they ended up having to make that deal with Hillary in the first place.
Gotcha. Agree with all that, 100%.
Wasn't sure if you were going with the half a dozen false narratives pushed by the press over the weekend trying to make Brazille look like a liar.
But yeah, this has had the stank of 'cover your own fat ass' from the jump.
I enjoyed the Clinton campaign's statement.
"It is particularly troubling and puzzling that she would seemingly buy into false Russian-fueled propaganda, spread by both the Russians and our opponent?"
Brazile was obviously in on the conspiracy too. It all fits.
So is it nothing but Russia? Is that going to be Clinton's excuse for everything from here on out?
I can just picture it: Hillary leaves a bathroom in disarray, toilet unflushed, totally disgusting?but it was the Russians. Hillary publicly calls everyone in Tennessee a "rotting mound of dogshit"?nope, Russians. Benghazi was the Russians, her pneumonia was the Russians, and the fact that nobody really likes her?well, that's a lie spread by the Russians.
(And you thought McCarthy had a one-track mind!)
Is this John? If so, awesome username change.
So is it nothing but Russia? Is that going to be Clinton's excuse for everything from here on out?
Yeah, it is. They talked about this in "Shattered"--Hillary declared right off the bat that she was going to push the Russian angle as the only reason she lost. The woman's incapable of holding herself accountable for anything.
A ground invasion is the only way to rid North Korea of its nuclear weapons, according to the Pentagon.
I know these experts at the Pentagon are military geniuses, but I can think of at least one other way North Korea can get rid of its nuclear weapons. Two ways if you count both incoming and outgoing.
I hear Iran is interested in buying a couple.
If the US (UN?) invades North Korea, they'll definitely get rid of at least one nuke. Over Seoul.
The Robert Mueller probe is reportedly zeroing in on the former national security advisor Michael Flynn.
Doin a bang-up job investigating the people we already knew about.
The Robert Mueller probe is reportedly zeroing in on the former national security advisor Michael Flynn.
Well, at least it's not zeroing in on a 14-year-old boy or a wanna-be actress.
Or an 11-year old girl going up the escalator.
no one wants to hear how you spent your weekend.
Tremendous.
Funny watching Chris Cuomo on CNN pushing the gun control agenda - he points out that the US is the only country in the world that has this problem (not true) and the only difference between us and other countries is easy access to guns (also not true). He points out, for example, that Japan doesn't have mass shootings without venturing into the issue of what else Japan doesn't have. (Not that he's dog-whistling to the white supremacists, of course. Don't be silly.) But then he gets on his high horse about how it's high time the politicians need to do something about this or otherwise they share the blame in allowing dozens of innocent people to get killed and how can they live with that on their conscience? I would suggest he ask Obama how he sleeps at night knowing he's responsible for the death of dozens of innocents.
But then he gets on his high horse about how it's high time the politicians need to do something about this or otherwise they share the blame in allowing dozens of innocent people to get killed and how can they live with that on their conscience?
"Why, I myself haven't slept a wink since Sandy Hook!"
Not to deflect or anything but gonna deflect because...well....but...
Ahem...
Chicago.
Didn't you know- Chicago's violence problem is because of Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, Wisconsin, Missouri, and Iowa?
Chicago has the sorts of gun control laws Cuomo wants to see nationwide, and you have to admit they work pretty well - not many white people getting killed in Chicago, just the blacks and nobody cares about them or expects any better out of them. But try asking Cuomo why he's reporting live from Texas where a bunch of white people got shot and not reporting live from Chicago where this many black people get shot every damn month and he'd go ballistic on the suggestion that he's racist. He just knows damn well that even just remarking on black-on-black crime statistics would get him attacked as a racist, which is racism.
Or his brother.
Did he say "we need to put politics aside", right before pushing his political agenda? That seems to be the new narrative.
Gun control is common sense and therefore not subject to political discussion.
26 people were killed during a church service in Texas.
Another disgusting example of white on white crime. Those people are animals.
Boucher worked there as a "general pain medicine physician" for about a year and a half beginning in January 2010 before leaving.
Something something opioid crisis.
President Trump met with the emperor of Japan.
How far did he bow?
How far did he wow?
How much did he meow?
How much did he sow?
How now brown cow?
Who did he plow?
I hate all of you.
No no no. That's not playing. Try:
I hate all of you now.
That's playing.
Did he learn about Tao?
So many country bumpkins are being assaulted and/or shot at. What the hell? Why aren't they shooting back with their concealed carry? This to me indicates a clear case for a concealed bazooka bill. We just don't have enough firepower.
You should probably read the story.
You mean about how the guy chased down the perp with a car *after* he shot 26 people? Gee, I would have hoped somebody would have responded by that time.
I know its beyond what your two cell brain can handle but he not only kept police abreast of who did this but possibly prevented the perp from hurting other people. Constitutional carriers cannot be everywhere all the time.
This type of armed citizenry fact really throws a wrench in all the lefty narrative that armed citizenry never lessens the effects of criminal activity.
That is open carry.
This particular assault apparently was stopped by several concealed carriers who chased him while shooting back. He dropped his rifle and drove away, and one or two people followed him while talking to 911.
No doubt some details will emerge differently once the dust settles. But there's your answer.
How many of Chicago's weekend death toll had the opportunity to protect themselves? Most were probably gangbangers carrying illegally, so I suppose if the actual victims hadn't died, it would have been their killers instead.
If the shooter was in fact stopped by an armed citizen what you are saying is 26 dead people is a successful version of your plan.
? Timothy Simons (@timothycsimons) November 6, 2017
Retard is incoherent, again.
Lefties would be much happier if the shooter were left alone to kill many more; they love them some mass murder, right commie-kid?
Given your nome de plume, Roach Pierre Stalin Pol Pot, I can certainly understand your support of more restrictions on firearms. Sic semper tyrannis.
Again, I suspect you, American Socialist, Butt Plug aka chicken shit, and possibly Tony are the same person.
Not true. Tony is a racist gay guy who deep down just wants to use the government to punish everyone who gave him swirlies in junior high. Butt Plug is apparently also interested in sticking things in butts, considers minorities to be perpetually in need of help from the government and would like to stick it to all Republicans, which of course includes every libertarian.
Hmm...maybe those two are the same person...
AmSoc, however, is a foul little parasite whose favorite philosophers are Mao and Mother Theresa and who wouldn't mind going all Pol Pot on the lot of us.
We all know that you and your fellow socialist mental patients hate the 2nd Amendment protections.
Good thing that part of the Constitution is going strong.
26 dead before the "good guy with a gun" stops the "bad guy with a gun", and people here are trying to spin it as a win for an armed society. Fucking Pathetic.
26 dead before the "good guy with a gun" stops the "bad guy with a gun"
Operative. Where were the cops? How many more would have been killed if no one provided armed resistance against this lunatic. Surely you are capable of recognizing that all of these mass murderers cower when faced with armed opposition and are therefor capable of reasoning that he would have been stopped sooner if someone in the church had been armed.
and people here are trying to spin it as a win for an armed society
It is absofuckinglutely a win for an armed society. See above.
I know its fucking pathetic when your stupid lefty argument for gun grabbing gets all shattered.
We all know the socialists cannot take over without suppressing the armed populace.
Aren't you the mewling pussy who claimed he owned guns? If so, stick a loaded one in your mouth and pull the trigger.
Mewling Pussy? I own firearms because it's the only responsible move when every right-winged asshole around owns 20. And when you and Brian and LC and the rest of the small-dick-moms-basement brigade decide to act, there will be a small few of us to stand against you. I certainly don't expect to win, but I won't be put in the cattle car willingly.
I own firearms because it's the only responsible move when every right-winged asshole around owns 20
What, the left-wing assholes in our vibrant inner-cities don't register on your radar?
I certainly don't expect to win, but I won't be put in the cattle car willingly.
Yeah, I'm sure that super-soaker will do a lot of damage.
I certainly don't expect to win, but I won't be put in the cattle car willingly.
Cattle cars aren't traditionally associated with libertarian-types, are they? Seems like they were mostly used as a means of transporting prisoners to some kind of camps. I dunno, fun camps? Something like that. Anyway, I'm pretty sure the people running those trains weren't libertarian. Or right-wing.
So maybe you're fearing the wrong group? Just a thought.
You're such a victim boo boo.
but I won't be put in the cattle car willingly.
You will skip into the cattle car and dance into the 'shower'--because it will be your comrades telling you that it's all for the Greater Good.
It has always been you and yours who resort to the camps--you just think you'll be outside the barbed wire.
If you stop a guy who was planning on killing 50 people when he's 26 deep...I'd say that's the very fucking definition of 'successful'. I'm guessing that the couple dozen people from that church who are alive today because of legal gun ownership think you and Timothy Simons are some real evil pieces of shit.
Ignorant, irrational and evil is no way to go through life.
"Ignorant, irrational and evil is no way to go through life."
That we can agree on.
I like how you ignore where he destroyed your point.
Destroyed my point? His point is weak as shit. It's like telling the family of a dead cancer patient to be thankful that the chemotherapy also killed the cancer.
You got weak sauce lefty.
You had a high school girlfriend who left you for a liberal...it's got to be that.
Stop punishing the rest of society for your daddy issues, Eric.
Tis is the second time in a day you've white-knighted the slowest member of your herd RR. I'm sure he'll have you by now.
Your personal fantasies are none of our business, Eric.
No, it isn't. It's like telling the cancer victim entering remission that you're glad chemo worked for him, even if it didn't work for others.
Your argument is that we should deny the cancer patient the option of chemo, demonize chemo politically after every cancer death, and claim that the chemo industry has blood on their hands, since it doesn't save 100% of cancer patients.
You're making an ass of yourself, in short.
I guess you'd have a point had the good guy with a gun actually stopped anything. But accounts currently seem to be that he engaged the shooter in the parking lot as he was fleeing. So my metaphor is more apt in this scenario.
Your metaphor isn't apt in any scenario. It's a baseline-retarded non sequitur with no analogous link.
And Simons' plan is to cower and hope the shooter runs out of ammo.
Would 36 or 46 have been better in your mind?
Or is your position that 1 death is a tragedy, 26 or 36 or a million is just a statistic?
I think the real issue is what we're going to do with the radicalized left-wing terrorists that we have right here at home.
I'm sure you and the rest of your ilk can find a final solution for them. Don't forget to include their children too. It's harsh, but unfortunately necessary to remove the stain of leftism once and for all.
Nah bro, purges and gulags are your thing.
My thing, bro? Am I calling for a group solution to deal with a people I don't like, bro?
Just like Hitler and Stalin and Mao and the Fat Kims in North Korea and socialists all over the World.
Pot meet kettle, LC. But I don't expect you to get that.
My thing, bro? Am I calling for a group solution to deal with a people I don't like, bro?
Yes, you fucktard, don't you read what you write?
You're all for treating all gun owners(a group) as if they are criminals and restricting/taking away their right to defend themselves.
When left-wing terrorists try to assassinate our congressmen in DC, that's an assault against democracy, moreso than Facebook feed ads.
That's all I'm saying.
You sound like a progressive. Why attach group labels only when the crime is committed by a lefty?
Whenever it's a crime by someone on the right the response here is all about "personal accountability".
That'll make me feel bad as soon as the leftist gun-grabbers stop trying to blame right-wingers and take every law-abiding citizen's guns away because suddenly we're all just individuals and group thinking magically becomes problematic.
Almost nobody is trying to take your guns. The vast majority of Americans (left and right) agree with the 2A. The fight is over background checks, bump-stocks, magazine size, silencers, etc.
"Why attach group labels only when the crime is committed by a lefty?"
Because it was done not as a criminal act but for political reasons.
Socialism 101: Kill people that don't agree with you politically or try and/or prevent your cause from taking over and ending freedoms.
No doubt you'd be amongst the shock troops at the vangaurd of the coming leftist purge LC. Or at least the shock-internet-commentariat...
If you realized how shitty it is to sound like a progressive: congratulations for getting the point, genius.
My only question is why are progressives so inconsistent with it.
I would think left-wig terrorism is not OK.
You're conflating "violence" with "terrorism". That makes you also sound like a modern politician.
And now you're trying your best to play semantic games.
Terrorism is frequently a subset of violence. If you can show how politically motivated violence is somehow magically not terrorism in a manner that's completely consistent with progressive attitudes about terrorism right here at home, then be my guest.
I win. [See LCs response below]
Not really: treason can punished by death. And what's more treasonous than assaulting democracy with left-wing terrorism?
If it comes to deporting or getting y'all to trial for treason against the Constitution.
[facepalm]
the silence is deafening.
Your deafness isn't silence.
Have some balls. At least when Left-wing terrorists attack they go after political and military targets. When right-wingers and their ideological kissing cousins in ISIS go after people they blow up Day care centers.
I get it: it takes a real man to try desperately to murder baseball players.
...who are implementing policy that will kill tens of thousands of people a year. You can't see the difference between that and what your buddy, Tim McVeigh did?
Were the babies in the daycare he mentions acceptable collateral damage Brian?
Were the babies in the daycare he mentions acceptable collateral damage Brian?
McVeigh didn't use a gun to kill people. He used a bomb. Like your ideological forbears in the New Left loved to practice.
The only thing the New Left was doing is standing up for the principle that it's ok to have a shootout with the police if you think the government sucks. Hey, that's the same reason you guys argue that there should be a 2nd amendment. Surprise, surprise, surprise.
The only thing the New Left was doing is standing up for the principle that it's ok to have a shootout with the police if you think the government sucks.
Uh, that's not how it works, shithead.
Was it "not terrorism, just violence"?
Concern troll is concerned.
Brian,
James Hodgkinson was only following the principle that you all laid before him. That sometimes in the face of tyranny and fascism it is sometimes necessary to pick up a weapon and forcibly confront an authoritarian government that caters to the special interests that fund it. Thank God he correctly identified his interlocutors and didn't take it out on 3 year old whose parents worked for the government. I give him credit, at least, for that.
Given his politics, I'm pretty sure that perspective has more in common with your revolution than mine.
Wait--ISIS is 'kissing cousins' with the people who want to ban them from coming into the country and NOT with the people who want to import them by the boatload and see any infringement on their imposing their religious law on everyone an example of 'islamophobia'?
You're not the allies of the people you vociferously support?
Do you really expect anyone to believe that?
Sen. Rand Paul (R-Ky.) was assaulted at his home in Bowling Green.
I'll be disappointed if he wasn't carrying. At least he wasn't being shot at by a Bernie Bro this time. Though it seems he was injured.
It was a fellow physician, an anesthesiologist, who lives next door. Apparently they do not agree on politics.
Yeah, looks like one more lefty loser who just can't accept reality:
https://www.reddit.com/r /The_Donald/comments/7at9j0 /rand_paul_assaulter_ rene_boucher_donated_money_to/
Jeff Jones, a registered nurse who worked with Boucher at the Bowling Green Medical Center, described Boucher's politics as "liberal."
"He was active on social media and said some negative things about the Republican agenda," Jones said.
Jim Bullington, a former member of the city commission, knows both men. He said Sunday that Boucher is divorced and lives alone. Bullington described Boucher as a socialist.
"He's pretty much the opposite of Rand Paul in every way," Bullington said in an interview.
The neighbors had been known to have "heated discussions" about health care, Bullington said, adding that Boucher is an advocate of a national health system.
Rand Paul has a socialist neighbor who uses violence to express frustration that socialism is not being taken seriously anymore
So Sen. Paul is cutting his grass and this lefty looney tackles him from behind. Sounds like anifa to me.
"He said Sunday that Boucher is divorced and lives alone. "
Solid libertarian creds.
"...Bullington said, adding that Boucher is an advocate of a national health system."
Solid socialist virtue cred.
Is your Indian name "Steps on Jokes"?
As a matter of fact, its "Runs with Premise".
Lc1789 got kicked out of the stands at the Special Olympics because he kept yelling "hold on, there's something medically wrong with these kids!"
You don't know me well enough Citizen....
I would be yelling for you to run faster because the crippled kids are beating you.
Ok, you missed the point, so i'll try to be clearer: if someone makes a joke, and then your contribution is to explain the joke, then you're actually just kind of making the whole situation sadder for everybody.
Yeah, and we all know that making things sadder for everyone is Crusty's job.
Maybe I was adding to the comment.
You got your schtick and I got mine.
I am sure when you add to someone else's "jokes", you will smack yourself to remind yourself that is against the rules.
Adding to jokes is fine. Adding to jokes by explaining them as if to a child is not, unless you are Norm MacDonald.
You are not Norm MacDonald.
then you're actually just kind of making the whole situation sadder for everybody.
Once again, solid libertarian creds.
"Rand Paul has a socialist neighbor who uses violence to express frustration that socialism is not being taken seriously anymore"
Well, Trump!
Isn't that the answer to any sort of lunacy?
Sounds to me like a violation of the Hippocratic Oath. Revoke his medical license.
Doctors don't actually take the Hippocratic Oath anymore. Which is good, because among other things, the Hippocratic Oath bans surgery.
If you want to perform surgery, you need to take the Barber's Oath (and 1200 hours of occupational licensing).
If you're patient, LC1789 will be along shortly to explain the jokes.
workplace violence. doctor on doctor crime.
26 people were killed during a church service in Texas.
And again, gun grabbers bloviated nonsense before the bodies were even cold. I expect that this was stopped by an armed good samaritan will be overlooked, as will the fact that the guy attempted to flee at the first sign of armed resistance.
Ya beat me by a couple of minutes, darn ya,
*reviews comments over NYC terror attack*
Hey, there you are. I was wondering what you'd been up to.
Tanks. Was in Europe on vacay for two weeks.
You know who else took tanks across Europe?
Stalin?
Bjork?
I expect that this was stopped by an armed good samaritan will be overlooked, as will the fact that the guy attempted to flee at the first sign of armed resistance.
Overlooked? On the local NPR affiliate this morning, Rep. Robin Kelly was sure to point out that the man returning fire didn't actually kill the guy.
I've never wanted to cave anyone's head in more.
"Pursuer describes gun battle and 95 mph chase with Texas shooting suspect"
[...]
"The driver's door was open. A man clad all in black was walking toward the vehicle with a pistol. He was trading shots with another man holding a rifle."

I think it was Hole last night asking, 'since it was Texas, why weren't all those gun-tot'n Texans shooting back?'
If the shooter was in fact stopped by an armed citizen what you are saying is 26 dead people is a successful version of your plan.
? Timothy Simons (@timothycsimons) November 6, 2017
I knew some fucking vile piece of shit would show up with a non-sequitur.
Thanks, fucking vile piece of shit.
It's so profound, he posted it twice. 2 scoops of retard for the price of one.
I really don't underand that post or tweet at all. I don't remember any gun supporter ever that claimed armed citizens could predict the future.
It sounds smart to people who don't spend any longer than half a second thinking about anything.
AKA those who think gun control controls guns
By their definition, police are rarely successful.
What?
With guns it's a question of utility, and what we are willing to give up/concede/sacrifice in order to have something we value.
Opiates: great to have after surgery or a painful disease or injury, but then over 52,000 people a year die from accidental overdoses and over 4 million abuse them.
Cars: unquestionable utility in an area as vast as North American, but in the US alone over 38,000 die in automobile accidents every year and over 4 million are injured.
Alcohol: we've already been there and done that [18th and 21st] and it didn't work out so well.
With guns we make a similar decision. We decide to have the freedom to own various types of weapons, including the AR platform [by no means the only weapon used in such events], and we then have to accept that miscreants will sometimes misuse them and cause harm. While the mass shootings get a enormous amounts of attentions far more [around 10,000 a year] are killed primarily with handguns, and over 20,000 die of suicide that requires exactly one bullet. The homicide numbers by the way are considerably fewer than they were a couple of decades ago, even though millions have concealed carry permits and guns have reportedly "proliferated" over the same time.
"With guns it's a question of utility,..."
Uh, no it isn't:
"...the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed"
I'm sure you can find a place to read that
I am quite aware of the Second Amendment and have no issue with it. The only reason we have guns to discuss and argue about is due to the fact that it is enshrined in our Constitution and is defended by citizens like myself and groups like the NRA; were it not for that we would be a lot more like our "mother country,"
what we are willing to give up
Fuck off slaver.
I don't value opiates and don't generally take them. Should *I* decide when *you* get to take them?
From both an ethical and an economic standpoint it's a moral hazard.
For one I am not a "slaver" so thanks for your glib mis-characterization.
Reviewing my post perhaps I wasn't as clear as I could have been. By "giving up" I am referencing the relinquishment of supposed "safety" or the absence of risk; not giving up gun ownership, or drugs or cars. These things all [Constitutionally protected or not] have utility that comes with risk. We decide to assume that risk in order to enjoy the benefits of those objects. In that sense I agree it is a moral hazard, as is life insurance if it provides in incentive to commit suicide [which is why there is always a two year period of contestability; the moral hazard however remains after that time in the event you decide ending your life is a way out of a jam; otherwise life insurance would never be allowed.
Personally I enjoy the ownership of "AR platform" weapons in order to participate in 3 gun activities, along with "high capacity" pistols and semi auto shotguns. I own these things, directly as a result of enforced Constitutional guarantees [which I do not ever take for granted] and also knowing they will sometimes be misused to harm others. I have to be ok with that, and I am. Just as i am with pain medications [which I rarely need], cars, swimming pools, and any number of objects that have the potential and capacity to cause harm.
Right-wingers want you to believe that 26 dead people in a church is a successful implementation of their "good guys with guns" policy. Bravo.
Oh, look! Vile piece of shit has learned a new talking point!
It doesn't even make sense.
Sure it does. You see, if the good guys don't have guns, then the bad guy gets to kill a lot more people, and the left can push for taking away more guns and/or and expanded surveillance state and/or government-funded mental health programs (attendance is mandatory!) and/or being able to arrest people with ideas they don't like as "enemies of the people."
Also there's the underlying assumption that massacres like this wouldn't happen without guns?an assumption defied by the recent truck attacks in Europe and NYC and by bomb attacks such as the one in Boston a few years back.
The fact that armed citizens intervened to chase this guy down and possibly prevented this shooter from hurting more people completely shuts down the left's gun control argument that armed citizens never mitigate criminal actions.
The lefty's only recourse is to blabber and not make sense.
Same thing when Hillary lost the election.
I've seen 3-year-old with better reasoning skills than this. You can't even reply to it, you can only stare at it in amazement.
Left-wingers want you to think that sitting around getting shot at by left-wing terrorists while waiting for the government to show up is really the best you can do.
That certainly seems to be the implication.
That certainly seems to be the implication.
Stalin approves of your successful implementation of socialist gun control propaganda. Now, as your reward, go to Gulag.

But actually, Trump is smarter than people give him credit for.
He's gonna look like such a genius when some of those Toyota dudes go back in time to build plants in Tennessee that currently exist.
I guess him saying more cars interrupts your TDS too.
Needs to convince them to translate more VNs to sell here, and to start selling more of those weird kit kat flavors they do.
I thought the U.K. was the inbred island nation that was obsessed with Kit Kats. Is it Japan too?
Japan produces dozens of varieties of kit-kat flavors only available there. Green Tea, Rose Petal, Wasabi, you name it.
"President Donald Trump called on Japanese automakers to build more cars in the U.S."
I know this takes away from your TDS.
""But actually, Trump is smarter than people give him credit for.""
Probably true. People want to believe that their perception of others is the truth, regardless of what the truth is.
But I do have to give Trump a lot of credit for helping people think that's not true.
I'll give Trump this; he didn't do that retarded bow-and-handshake combo (which both looked ridiculous and was culturally improper) that Obama did.
Trump is doing a bunch of things better than Obama did.
