Socialist Venezuela rewards soldiers with toilet paper.



As the streets fill with gunfire and tear gas, shortages of basic supplies continue to plague Nicolas Maduro's socialist Venezuela. In July, opposition leader Miranda Gov. Henrique Capriles tweeted a series of photos of soldiers being rewarded for their service with the most coveted rarity of all: toilet paper.

  2. Is the guy in the painting behind them holding a 4-pack of TP in front of him? Maybe it’s a tradition dating back to when that uniform wasn’t considered totally queer.

  3. I think these pics are like drug raids when they take pictures of all the shit the confiscated from the public. That makes more sense. Or perhaps this is their portion of the civil asset forfeiture.
