No, what happened here is that Weinstein's influence isn't nearly as strong as it was before, and people decided that he wasn't worth the aggravation of enabling anymore. It doesn't have anything to do with journalistic integrity.

I got the sense that some journalists had a story, but not all the stories, and from the story they had it was hard to nail down the details and get it published. Weinstein intimidated, bought, or paid off everyone he could. The "who's to blame" list is something like: Weinstein (of course), everyone (both men and women) in the industry who knew it was happening to some degree and did nothing about it, and the journalists who allowed themselves to be bought off or intimidated or were just too spineless to pursue and print the stories.
