Brickbat: No Good Deed

Police in Halifax say that after an investigation that have determined that a man reported by a woman for suspicious behavior as actually a good Samaritan. The woman reported she was putting her groceries in her car when she turned around and saw a man holding her two-year-old son. He handed the boy to her and left. Police say the boy was standing in the cart's seat. The man feared he might fall, so he grabbed him and handed him to the mother.

"The man was investigated after a complaint was lodged by local hunting advocacy groups, who claimed that he was an 'environmental terrorist' attempting to interfere with the annual baby clubbing."
I blame Trump.
Arrest them both for endangering the child.
and then club the baby?
So much drama in tha club
That's what the foster system is for.
Sounds like everyone involved are possible sex traffickers.
Meanwhile the massacre story from Las Vegas that's been breaking this AM is baffling. From what I'm hearing so far on WOR, someone living in a retirement home w no hx of shit went into a hotel room & opened fire on a country music concert below w what sounded to a dealer like 2 successive full auto weapons, killing at least 50, upwards of 200 injured.
Yeah, I guess his roommate of whatever she is works for Mandalay Bay. Still no motive. This time the motive really is unclear.
She's said as of now to no longer be a person of interest.
Maybe the guy was going to die soon, never made a name for himself, so figured he'd do so by beating the Orlando record. Or somebody who really, really disliked C&W.
Whatever the facts turn out to be, the left will call for further infringement on the second amendment.
Just remember, comrades:
Vegas: 50+
Orlando: 49
Anders Breivik in Gun-Free Oslo: 70+
ISIS in Gun-Free Nice: 84
Tell that to every prog you meet in the next week and repeat as needed.
Paris: 137. With very strict gun laws.
Eh, multiple shooters, not really fair to compare.
If they still had those fusion centers (maybe do), wonder what they'd try to make of the confluence of mass shooting & OJ Simpson parole in LV. Hmm, combine those w this baby incident in Halifax, & what does it add up to?
Breaking news: Las Vegas' perpetrator's name has been identified as Stephen Paddock, 64 years of age. The suspect was killed, not yet known if by his own hand or by the police.
The number of dead so far fifty-plus, with more than 200 injured.
Information arrived that the suspect was dead before the police got to him, according to Fox News.
C'mon man, what happens in Vegas is supposed to stay in Vegas so why is the news nothing but Vegas? I want to know how many NFL players took a knee and what Trump tweeted about it! I gots to know, man! Who gives a crap about wild times in Vegas when that's what Vegas is there for and there's Trump bashing and social signaling and culture war issues to be discussed?
I mean, I heard on the twitters that there was an earthquake in Mexico that killed several hundred people and injured thousands and did billions of dollars worth of damage and the news still found time to talk about Trump and the NFL for forty-seven thousand straight hours, why is this different?
Couple hours ago Len & Todd on WOR said the big story would've been about OJ Simpson's parole in Las Vegas had it not been for this. They still managed to spend some time on that story while they didn't have enough details about the massacre.
At least he didn't get the shit beaten out of him, as has happened before.
I don't even look at peoples kids anymore, much less pick them up. In GB of all places that is just looking for trouble. Much better had he minded his own business and let the kid fall and sustain a major brain injury; then at least the mother's sense of comfort and safety would not have been threatened so. Just have to remember what matters now.
