Yet they simultaneously hold the belief that these professions are "unskilled" and somehow not as good as white collar professions, even when they pay better.

The thing you're not getting is this:

People here disagree about all kinds of things. Some people are able to disagree with a particular point without being an insulting asshole to the person making it, and without collectivizing whole groups of people based on one person saying something you don't like.

In other words, you "can't join our club" not because of your heterodox views, but because your opening statements tend to involve you being a huge asshole to someone and issuing blanket condemnations of whole groups of people.

Don't be a dick, be open to discussing things in good faith, and you may actually find friends here.
