The Missouri Court of Appeals has upheld a $5 million judgment against Harris-Stowe State University. Beverly Wilkins, a white professor at the predominately black school, had sued, saying she was fired because of her race. "Rarely have we seen such manifest and open evidence of racial discrimination," said the appeals court judges in their ruling.

You would think academics would be savvy enough to try to make subtle their racial privilege.

I don't think they realized they needed to do that. This should adjust their worldview a bit.

There was a discrimination lawsuit in a steel mill where I worked once and minority steelworkers got paid a somewhat considerable amount of cash reparations. So did my (white) buddy who listed his minority group as "hippie", just for shits and giggles.

Does the rest of the article detail how fast the feds are going to cut off all funds, and require mandatory tolerance counseling for the staff and administration? Or will it be the feds and the state?
Or will the discrimination continue?
