Pots, kettle, etc.
Hello.
"A man in Canada went mowing his lawn with a tornado in the area."
Canadians eat tornados for breakfast.
My neighbour would do the same thing. Always cutting the fricken grass.
That's a pretty cool picture. I'd probably be outside watching it. I've never seen a tornado in real life.
One tore the tops off a row of houses one block over from me in Brooklyn a few years ago. You do NOT want to mess with that shit. If it didn't come out of nowhere at six o'clock in the morning I would have found a basement somewhere or something.
In Brooklyn, I probably wouldn't be out watching it. Too much debris potential and you probably can't see much anyway. But if it's a mile away, over open land, I'm there.
As someone who's sat on the porch and watched them several times, I don't recommend it. I used to pop some popcorn and chill. Then we had an EF5 (1 mile diameter) come down, and not knowing how big it was, I thought it would be cool to do what I usually did. So did 2 friends. It was rain-wrapped, so it wasn't visible. By the time we realized the danger, it was way too late. It picked a big oak tree up out of the ground about 200' away and threw it like I might throw a piece of broccoli.
I lived and they didn't. What it did to their bodies was horrific. Definitely take cover from that stuff.
It looks photoshopped.
Does Egypt support terrorism?
The problem with claiming that Saudi Arabia supports terrorism is the fact that the government fights and beheads terrorist dissidents, and everyone from Al Qaeda to ISIS considers the Saudi Arabian government to be their enemy. In fact, ISIS has used suicide bombers against Saudi Arabia--targeting Saudi mosques.
The problem with claiming that the Saudi Arabian government supports terrorism is that the House of Saud has 15,000 members. While some of those members may use their wealth to spread Wahabism and maybe even support terrorist groups elsewhere in the world, that isn't necessarily at the behest of the clique in power.
The family I grew up in only had five members, and we hardly agreed on anything. Plenty of family members in a 15,000 member family may never have even met.
"Some of them, i assume, are good Sauds."
I didn't say that.
The ones in power aren't supporting ISIS, that's for sure.
The ultimate purpose of Al Qaeda and Osama bin Laden was to overthrow the Saudi royal family and take control of the country himself--that's why he wanted the U.S. out of Saudi Arabia.
He claimed that the U.S. wasn't really in Saudi Arabia to protect the country from Iran or Saddam Hussein. He said the real purpose of the U.S. presence in Saudi Arabia was to protect the House of Saud from the Saudi Arabian people.
The Saudi Arabian government is a vicious dictatorship, in part because of the way it treats dissidents like those who sympathize with Al Qaeda, ISIS, Assad, and the mullahs in Iran. That also makes them prime candidates for allies, what with their enemies being our enemies.
When people Saudi Arabia supports terrorism, they're either talking about their support for mosques around the world or they're talking about factions outside of the clique that controls the government.
"When people [say] Saudi Arabia supports terrorism, they're either talking about their support for mosques around the world or they're talking about factions outside of the clique that controls the government."
Either that, or they don't know what they're talking about.
It's funny then, because Al Qaeda was never really our enemy until we started permanently basing our military in Saudi Arabia, home to Mecca. I doubt they had had much love for Saddam Hussein, and probably cared less that we helped to part way overran Iraq in 1991. But when the job was over and we decided to make ourselves at home in Saudi Arabia, we became as much an enemy to Al Qaeda as the Saud family.
I personally think we should pull up stakes and leave Saudi Arabia today. We have sold them hundreds of billions of dollars of weaponry, and they should be able to take care of themselves without our support. But it won't happen, and we will remain a target for fanatics for decades to come. The sad reason is that it doesn't matter how many weapons we sell to Saudis - - they are terrible fighters. Even with squadrons of F-15s and a modern army, they needed help fighting the cave dwellers in Yemen. Their pilots were given Maseratis simply for flying sorties over Yemen. These morons could screw up a cup of coffee.
The sad reason is that it doesn't matter how many weapons we sell to Saudis - - they are terrible fighters. Even with squadrons of F-15s and a modern army, they needed help fighting the cave dwellers in Yemen.
Makes it all the more astonishing that degenerate family ever took over the Arabian peninsula in the first place. If there was ever a Middle Eastern nation ripe for an Arab Spring-type uprising, it's the House of Saud.
If it wasn't for the potential global market meltdown that might take place if they were ever overthrown, the US probably would have abandoned them a long time ago. Pretty sad that we've been too chickenshit to weather a short-term economic downturn for the long-term benefits of the Saudis no longer being able to import their toxic brand of Islam across the civilized world.
It was oil. The Saudis were a semi-nomadic people before the 1960s. Most Saudis currently live in Riyadh, Jeddah, or Dammam. Much of the rest of the country is a desert wasteland.
Oil made them rich. Saud came into power owing to the vacuum left by the Brits setting up the Husseins in Iraq, back when pretty much no one cared who had control over the Arabian Peninsula.
Ably played by Alec Guinness in the movie version.
Who like hookers and blow.
They're always beheading. Haven't they heard of lethal injection? Or at least firing squads.
They're trying to save money for coke. Don't have to buy ammo for a big knife.
In an interview with Megyn Kelly, Russia President Vladimir Putin denied interfering in the U.S. presidential election or having any compromising information about President Trump, with whom he said he had no relationship.
In fact, who is this Donald Trump fella... and now that you mention it, what is a U S of A?
So Putin is not going to pay me for all the work I have done?
I'm the one who got the DNC to push Hillary as candidate
I'm the one who told Podesta to not worry about it and just go to the attached website and change your password
I'm the one who had Hillary giving speeches to Goldman Sachs. I told her that voters loved winners like Goldman Sachs.
I'm the one who told Hillary to hire Wasserman as honorary chairperson of her campaign after she was forces out as DNC chair for cheating and pushing Hillary as candidate.
And there is so much more, I deserve my paycheck!
Please allow me to introduce myself
^^^ Beat me to it.
Classic.
Is it odd that the people who say Trump wasn't involved tend to have their names attached to the stories while the ones who claim he was are always anonymous?
Putin's game is to cause chaos and encourage distrust between the US Gov and its citizens. The Demopmedia is playing right into his hands with the constant pants wetting.
Did Putin meddle or try to? Yes. I have no doubt. But I also doubt that his meddling had any real impact on vote totals in swing states - directly or indirectly.
Yet Dems believe, according to polls, that Russia actually manipulated vote totals.
So, to the Progs:
No ID used for voting to verify identity leading to the likelihood of fraud is just silly scare-mongering.
But Russia hacking vote totals by having agents in every polling place in the country and manually messing with all of them and none of them getting caught is logical.
A man in Canada went mowing his lawn with a tornado in the area.
Once you've lived through a few dozen Canadian winters, i doubt there's much weather that can scare you.
Is it just me, or is that picture reminiscent of the Black Hole Sun video?
Where is that damn Yellow Brick Road?
OK I'll say it: fake!
You haven't been in Taiwan for the last few days.

Probably did not even have someone hold his beer.
A man in Canada went mowing his lawn with a tornado in the area
If there was a tornado raging outside, I am terrified what horrors were waiting for the man inside his house.
It BLOWS, I can tell you that.
Some Democrats want Hillary Clinton to go away.
Yeah, but unless they know the Akklo for the Sabaoth, i'm not sure how they're gonna make her.
Police in Portland arrested at least 14 people after some counterdemonstrators at a "Trump Free Speech" rally allegedly threw bottles, bricks, and other projectiles at cops who were separating them from the pro-Trump protesters.
If i wanted a counter demonstration, I'd go to Lowe's
If you put Lowe's and Home Depot together you get a counter-counter demonstration.
"Some Democrats want Hillary Clinton to go away."
Many non-Democrats want her to go away too.
Given all the riots because she didn't win...no, I really don't think they do. If she runs in 2020, she will be their nominee again.
There are actually not very many rioting. Most Democrats cried in their safe spaces.
if Hillary is their candidate in 2020 again, Trump will win by an even bigger landslide and she will be a 3 time loser.
Theunis Wessels was "fully aware" of the twister but "wasn't worried at all", his wife Cecilia, who took the photo, told the BBC.
Did Cecilia tell the BBC how many Labatts Theunis had knocked back first?
Hoold my beer and watch this, eh.
Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates broke off diplomatic relations with Qatar, accusing the country's government of supporting terrorism
Cutter is home to the US 5th fleet, and the largest US air base in the Mideast. We need to sit them down and make it clear there is room for only one terrorist organization in their tiny shit stain of a country, ISIS or us, and they can't Have it both ways.
Can we stop sucking up to them with this "Gutter" nonsense now?
Just say the Q with your throat and roll the R.
Derbyshire had a rant about this some time ago - why should we go through the bother of attempting to half-ass pronounce their names in their language when they don't do the same for us? We have to say "Beijing" instead of "Peking" now but guess what, they have their own words for "America" and "New York".
Are we really doing it for them? I'm sure we still totally fuck up pronunciation of Chinese place names, even if we use the officially sanctioned pinyin spellings.
It's often just another form of political correctness but in the case of China, I believe on top of that, they did run a campaign to get the rest of the world on board with this.
And yes, we don't pronounce them correctly anyway (thus, "half-assed"). There is one sound in "Beijing" that doesn't even exist in English, and another that is unnatural for English speakers in that position. Repeat for most words.
I'm willing to throw them a bone; I mean these people are willing to take English names when they move here. That's commitment to assimilation.
Amen. And that goes double for the Vietnamese, who give us Ngyuen and want us to pronounce it "Win", or who introduce characters and phonetic combinations that don't exist in the English language. Do as you will, but don't expect me to figure out how to say it "correctly".
And often you find after struggling to pronounce some word "correctly" that that's only the correct way for about 2k native speakers.
I've never met two people who pronounce "Ngyuen" the same. Ask a Chinese person to pronounce the name of a Chinese person they've never met, and the answer is likely "I don't know."
A native Arabic speaker from Algeria cannot understand a native Arabic speaker from Syria.
It's 100% domestic virtue-signaling, and I get the impression that foreigners regard it as a little weird. I mean, just listen to BBC reporters in contrast - it's like they make a point of pronouncing things idiosyncratically.
So who are the retarded left-wing Brits blaming for the attacks? Lone-wolves? White people? Tech companies for not doing enough? The environment? Climate change? Minimum wage? Lack of job opportunities? Not enough blankets and hugs?
Bangers and mash?
Fish and FRENCH FRIES!
Always blame the Irish!
Lone wolves: now in convenient 12 packs
(stole that from @iowabloghawk)
Without actually checking, i'm gonna guess "the attackers were baited 'n' incited by Brexit."
You fucked up the joke, the answer isn't Hitler.
You know who else liked to blame terrorist attacks on convenient scapegoats?
Teddy Roosevelt?
Terrorism:Republicans :: Climate Change:Democrats
Both exist, both are bad, but each side exaggerates them to expand their control.
Oh, and Hitler.
Tojo?
Always the most pressing question.
London Bridge attack ringleader 'held a goodbye barbecue and invited his neighbours' a week before the atrocity
Pork spare ribs, if the pattern persists.
The really pious ones say goodbye on a wave of hookers and blow.
Those 72 virgins are not going to fuck themselves.
Imagine a religion that says 72 virgins are waiting for you and only you to deflower them. If only you kill some virgins (kids) in this life, your reward is waiting for you.
What they don't realize is that the 72 virgins are 72 other pathetic, fugly-ass loser guys just like them.
We should get them hooked on MMORPG's instead of death cults.
Can you imagine how popular World of Jihad: Sunni vs Shia would become? All open-world PvP all the time. 40-man raids on the White House, the Kremlin, and British Parliament. World quests to destroy roaming infidels.
Dude - you just imagined the "better mousetrap".
Pork spare ribs, if the pattern persists.
Plus strippers and ale.
Hillary is a big fat zero and loser.
News at 11pm.

Progressives are retards.
"Bahrain, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates broke off diplomatic relations with Qatar, accusing the country's government of supporting terrorism"
To be specific, it's about Qatar's support for Iran.
While the success of the Libyan revolution might have been impossible without Qatari troops on the ground, the Qataris have been accused of supporting Muslim Brotherhood types in the aftermath of the war, throwing a monkey wrench in that fledgling democracy. Any references to their support for terror should be taken with a grain of salt.
Even if they were true, this isn't about terror. This is about Qatar's support for Iran.
Someone might add that Qatar's relationship with Iran is much like the Dutch/British relationship that gave us Royal Dutch Shell. Their countries are drilling the same gas field, and Qatar's interests are driven by commercial concerns attached to such cooperation on energy.
"When Al Gore lost the election, he went to Europe, gained weight and grew a beard," Simmons said. "He walked away. And there's something to that."
If only Hillary would follow suit.
That would be hilarious if Hillary got fat and grew a beard.
She hasn't?
I thought she already had a fat beard named Bill.
Actually Bill has been looking a bit emaciated lately. Probably ill with something or another.
Especially in the aftermath of defeat, she must feed.
Syphilis. There is a cure but 'ol Billie don't trust doctors no more after they did something to keep that zombie Hillary alive.
Wouldn't that make her Bizzaro Hillary - a morally grounded, competent retired public servant who devotes her clout and considerable wealth to charity?
He didn't walk away.
Al Gore formed an environmentalist group that's behind the class action lawsuit against the oil companies for not reporting the risks of climate change to their shareholders.
By his own admission, he's trying to use state attorney generals to initiate huge lawsuits against the oil companies so that the government can effectively take over the oil industry--just like he did with the tobacco companies.
He didn't walk away at all. People just stopped paying attention to him.
He also won a fucking Oscar.
For a PowerPoint presentation, no less.
But it was one hell of a powerpoint presentation...
Gore is a presentation tool!
W. Bush, on the other hand, has done an excellent job of going away as an ex-president.
He's quietly adopted a delightful new career as an outsider artist.
Yup. He's painting all his crimes against humanity away.
Hitler, on the other hand, committed crimes against humanity to wash away the stain of being a bad artist.
We can only begin to imagine the kind of mischief O is going to cause.

Alinskyites never stop being amoral busybodies; it's simply who they are.
Speaking of protests, CNN gets caught with their hands in the cookie jar again, staging a Muslim anti-ISIS protest in London for the cameras (apparently BBC and AP had photogs there as well).
CNN PR claims that they just invited protesters who happened to be nearby to stand in front of their cameras, but that doesn't explain:
1. The protesters not having signs until they stepped in front of the camera
2. CNN personnel directing them where to stand in relation to each other (presumably to give the impression of larger numbers)
3. Why three major news organizations were filming an empty street before discovering nearby protestors
I can't wait for the fake news orgs to join cops in demanding that it be made illegal to record video of what they're doing.
Zero Hedge. Yeah.
I'm sure a lot of shit on the news channels is staged to some extent. I have my doubts that it is made up out of whole cloth.
Are you attacking the source?
ZH just reposted video with commentary.
I know ZH is not a reliable source of news. But they're not the source here. There is video and the CNN PR tweet. If there weren't video and the tweet from CNN PR, I would not have posted the link.
Obviously none of the MSM outlets are going to report on this, so claiming that it must not be true because NBC News etc. isn't reporting it is fallacious.
I wonder which source you would trust? Everybody is lying at least part-time these days.... not sure the gap between CNN and ZH is significant at this point.
I don't trust anyone on that sort of thing. Everyone's pushing an agenda or narrative of some kind or other.
The video by itself is a pretty weird scene. But it seems at least as likely that CNN said "hey, wanna be on TV" to people who were actually there to protest terrorism and then set them up so it would look good on camera as anything else.
If I watch the video without editorial commentary, what I see is odd, to say the least.
I see what appears to be a major broadcaster or broadcasters-- given the sophistication of the equipment involved-- setting up a scene with a group of women in hijabs (presumably Muslim) holding signs over flowers. A lot of care is taken to make sure the people in the shot are placed carefully before the cameras, telling them where to stand, making sure they're in frame etc.
Then I hear what sounds to be a "report" of people gathered in front of flowers for some type of vigil for the victims, but it's difficult to tell.
Whether or not the concept was staged or not is hard to tell, but it's clear the SCENE was staged, but staging the scene itself does not constitute malicious behavior on the part of the news, as long as the broadcaster didn't accompany the video with a narrative that this had just been 'caught spontaneously' on the street.
But the video itself produces a lot of questions. But accompanying it with 'FAKE NEWZ!!1!" doesn't help.
staging the scene itself does not constitute malicious behavior on the part of the news
Of course it does, unless they made it clear to the audience that they had arranged the scene. Staged news is fake news.
So when the Real World was cancelled by MTV, the crew all got hired at CNN?
Takes one to know one.
President Panic should consult with the lawn mower dude the next time there's an attack.

Gee, Mr. or Ms. homeowner, how would you like a lawsuit? I'll bring one with me!
"Airbnb hosts more likely to reject the disabled, a study finds"

"Garcia,[...] wanted to know if the places she was considering could accommodate her needs as someone with muscular dystrophy. Unfortunately, she said, her questions appeared to scare off at least two potential hosts.
She said she feels that if she had not mentioned her disability, "they would have rented to me, no issue."
http://www.sfgate.com/business.....192712.php
Of course the evil, profit-making company is at fault here; nothing to do with ADA! No, sir!
Why not include elevators and ramps everywhere?
I thought it was the heartless, bigoted homeowners?
That might also have something to do with the fact that most people's houses and apartments aren't very well set up for people with significant disabilities.
I would not put it past the anti-Airbnb crowd to be using the disabled as props in another attempt to shut them down.
You don't think the SEIU would stoop to such tactics, do you?
Well, do you?
She said she feels that if she had not mentioned her disability, "they would have rented to me, no issue."
Yeah, if you reveal that you have a disability that the homeowners might not be able to accommodate, they'll probably avoid the hassle of renting their space to you.
Really, wasn't this inevitable, though? The "handicapped" are easy targets for sympathy and this is probably the camel's nose in the tent to force AirBnB participants to get that pointless, but profitable for state bureaucrats, hospitality license.
Basically, the only way to really make the world fair to the handicapped is to cut off everyone's legs. May as well get to it.
Police in Portland arrested at least 14 people after some counterdemonstrators at a "Trump Free Speech" rally allegedly threw bottles, bricks, and other projectiles at cops who were separating them from the pro-Trump protesters.
This may be an odd question, but if the rally was in support of Trump how can the pro-Trump people be protestors?
Everyone's a protestor now?
Except the people throwing bricks - they're "counterdemonstrators". Up is down these days.
You'd think that everyone would mellow out.
Being that pot is legal.
Pot is the gateway drug.
For lefties, that gateway is insanity.
"Demonstrators" would have been a better word to use. Particularly since they called the people actually protesting "counterdemonstrators"?
Trump isn't an absolute dictator. There are other parts of and levels of government that can be protested.
They're protesting the leftist city government and allied thugs who attempt to silence Trump supporters. The fucking mayor just said that he would block permits for Trump rallies because he considers them to be outside the first amendment protections b/c "hate speech".
That mayor's comments have been just awful. He's also consistently talking about the right wing groups as if it is completely obvious and uncontroversial that they are intolerant hate groups spreading bigotry. For all I know some are, but a mayor talking about public assemblies and free speech ought to be a bit more neutral, I would think.
That's funny. This morning's NPR news broadcast didn't mention anything about rock or bottle throwing, only that the police used flash grenades to keep the so-called "Antifa" protesters at bay while the pro-Trump supporters cheered on.
Could the NPR news people have a hidden agenda? Only The Shadow knows.
The greatest power the media has is the power to ignore.
In what I heard and read from NPR, they mention the bottles and bricks being thrown, but don't make it clear who was doing the throwing.
"New Jersey Democratic gubernatorial front runner Phil Murphy, a former Goldman Sachs executive,..." First John Corzine now Murphy; New Jersey sure does love its Democratic governors to be from Goldman Sachs. So why is it that the Dems are never tarnished as being in the pocket of Wall Street?
(A) FYTW
(B) Principals before principles
(C) Money talks
(D) How YOU doin'?
(E) All of the above
They are not "in the pocket" of Wall Street.
The Democrats are the actively conspiring with certain crony capitalists to use government to further make them money.
Many Republicans do the same thing but the left blames all of it on Republicans.
Some Democrats want Hillary Clinton to go away.
Yeah, I just bet they do. Every time she shows up in the mass media to run her mouth people remember the DNC's corrupt, dirty tricks used to insure her the party's nomination - not to mention that they were trying to push a crook on the country.
Every time she shows up in the mass media to run her mouth people remember the DNC's corrupt, dirty tricks used to insure her the party's nomination
If by "people remember" you mean Republicans, some libertarians, and a few cable shows and internet news outlets, you are correct. Trump is so triggering that I think most Democrats forgot how horrible she was.
Bernie-tards remember too.
And for the heck of it, SF never gets rain in the summer, unless TRUMP!

No link to The Alarm? I am dissappoint.
Because that's when the Alarm announced that they would irredeemably suck from that moment forward.
Here's a better tie-in.
The strategy forward now seems clear: get libertarian talking heads on to Morning Joe. You'll have a direct line to the president. You keep going on the wrong MSNBC shows, Welch!
A man in Canada went mowing his lawn with a tornado in the area.
Well, he did have that fence to protect him.
That fence was authorized by some Canadian government agency, so it can protect anyone from anything!
?Police in Portland arrested at least 14 people after some counterdemonstrators at a "Trump Free Speech" rally allegedly threw bottles, bricks, and other projectiles at cops who were separating them from the pro-Trump protesters.
Come on, they weren't throwing at the cops, they were throwing at the "pro-Trump protesters", it's just their limp wrists and faggoty arms causes them to throw like girls. The projectiles fell short and cops took it personally.
Yeah, whenever these "anarchists" get slapped down, they run straight to the cops to whine that their opponents should be arrested.
"FAIR? Who's the fucking nihilist around here, you bunch of fucking crybabies!"
"A man in Canada went mowing his lawn with a tornado in the area."
Reminds me of the end of the movie "A Serious Man". Also, mowing during a tornado probably obviates the need to rake and bag the lawn clippings.
Look, he had his headphones on and was halfway through The Independents. You want him to stop that for a tornado?
They are not "counter protesters" you twats, they are fucking terrorists. From Google ---
Terrorist: a person who uses unlawful violence and intimidation, especially against civilians, in the pursuit of political aims.
Nothing in that definition precludes terrorists from also being protestors.
I just love how the media reports it though. Violence is not coming from the right, it's all with the far left protesters, and they do this constantly.
Lefty groups show up to use terrorism against lawful protesters and the media says "Violence at Trump rally"
But remember, there is no lefty bias with the mainstream media.
One eyewitness spoke of the men shouting "this is for Allah" as they stabbed indiscriminately.
Do we have a motive yet?
His friend Allah was trying to get people stuck on knives?
His friend Allah was trying to make a point?
He was trying to show everyone in the area a magic trick Allah showed him using a trick knife but brought a real by accident?
He borrowed the knife from Allah and was trying to give it back to him, but kept mistaking everyone for Allah. Poor guy isn't good with faces.
