Kathy Griffin did something outrageous and insulting toward Trump...

Something Ann Coulter something something President Obama something.

      Hello.

Griffin. Just another depraved left-wing loon.

I'm pretty sure the only lines of anything Kathy Griffin has ever been involved with were cocaine.

          1. Chipper Morning, Now #1   8 years ago

I am sure that at some point in her life, Kathy was standing in a line that ended at an erection.

        3. Libertarian   8 years ago

I've said it before and I'll say it again: whoever her agent is that keeps her working is a freakin genius! Because I don't understand what it is she does, or if she's good at it.

Did Ann Coulter ever advocate an ISIS-style beheading of Obama. Just asking ... I know she was polemical, but I didn't know she literally wanted his head on a pike.

Those Red Guards need to amp up the struggle sessions. I'd love to see beat-up University professors wearing signs and dunce caps. Make them confess to their counterrevolutionary crimes and then deal with them accordingly.

A certain woman writer gets in on the The Handmaid's Tale hot-take-craze.

    1. Crusty Juggler aka "Chad"   8 years ago

The left's inability to recognize fiction is irritating, but the right-wing backlash is frequently just as lazy, but without any literary awareness. Take Brent Bozell's recent piece in Townhall, headlined "The Fake News of 'The Handmaid's Tale." In it, Bozell immediately missteps by suggesting that dystopian fiction's popularity is somehow a product of Trump's presence in the Oval Office. As if the moment he was elected?and not a minute before?the novelists, script, and screenwriters went to work creating thinly-veiled versions of America just to annoy conservatives.

      Lovely.

      1. Red Rocks Baiting n Inciting   8 years ago

True--if Hillary had been elected, the narrative instead would have centered around how the book's plot reflects the misogyny of those unable to accept Old Tracy Flick issuing executive orders instead of a Person of Penis.

We may not have perfected self driving cars, but we sure got a handle on self-stopping cars.

Be careful the next time you take a BMW ReachNow vehicle on a ferry.

GeekWire has learned of multiple recent incidents with BMW ReachNow vehicles ? part of the automaker's car-sharing program in Seattle ? getting stuck on Washington State Ferries, including two from this holiday weekend.

One knowledgeable source said a ReachNow customer was forced to spend four hours on the Whidbey Island ferry this weekend because his vehicle's wheels were locked, making the vehicle immovable unless dragged. The state ferry system won't let passengers abandon a car on the ferry because of security concerns.

    1. Diane Reynolds (Paul.)   8 years ago

We believe that the issue is related to a security feature built into the vehicles that kicks in when the car is moving but the engine is turned off and the doors are closed. We are working to quickly address the cause in order to determine a fix. For any ReachNow members that were impacted, we are reaching out to determine the best way to make sure they get to their final destinations safely.

  15. Unlabelable MJGreen   8 years ago

    The Homeless Conservative

You could think that Trump is a poison, a buffoon, a crass loudmouth who should never have gotten within spitting distance of the presidency. You could have opposed him forcefully in the primary, refused to vote for him in the general, and continue to oppose him when he does outrageous things as president ? but none of that matters if you're not on progressives' side on every single issue. If you're not fully with them on everything from single-payer health care to late term abortion, you're as evil as any Trump flunky.

The Never Trump crowd did exactly what those on the left demanded. They bucked "their" party, refused to vote for "their" candidate, and have been critical of Trump from the get-go through to the election. But we are still regarded by the left as "pathetic."

    [...]

"If there were any decent people left on the right, they would oppose Trump" we are told, to which a significant segment of us have said, "We oppose Trump, so we will join you." The response from the left is "Shut the hell up and get the hell out of here."

    1. Conchfritters   8 years ago

Sounds like the students vs. the Evergreen President above. No matter how much you give in to them, you will never never win.

    2. Red Rocks Baiting n Inciting   8 years ago

"An essay in which the traditional conservative finally realizes that the left will demonize them no matter the circumstance, as befitting those of a religious fundamentalism, and begins to understand why Trump won."

      1. Unlabelable MJGreen   8 years ago

        That's one take-away, I guess.

    3. MarkLastname   8 years ago

That just wasn't a marriage meant to last. Most of the conservative (or libertarian) points of opposition to Trump (free trade, limited government, etc.) put them on the opposite side of Trump from progressives. Not that plenty of conservatives and purported libertarians haven't rediscovered the wonders of mercantilism recently.

  16. Diane Reynolds (Paul.)   8 years ago

Unions, always lookin' out for the little guy:

A business operating on Seattle Parks and Recreation property was told to stop serving food during school lunch hours, to avoid conflict with the union representing school cafeteria workers, who serve lunch at Garfield High School next door.

Artez Ford, who owns Garfield Eats, said he has lost 70 percent of his business since October, when he was forced to sign an amendment to his Parks and Recreation contract promising not to sell food between 11:30 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.

    1. Juice   8 years ago

"He told me that there are real American families up at the cafeteria that's trying to make a living," Ford said.

      Unlike you, you scum.

    2. Juice   8 years ago

"I used to come down here [to Garfield Eats] for lunch, like, all the time, because it was so much cheaper," said freshman Makayla Clegg.

Fuck you, scum. There are Real American Families trying to make a living and all you can think about is money.

    3. Bubba Jones   8 years ago

I am flabbergasted. School lunches in Texas are $2.35.

Everything about this article is just wrong.

    4. MarkLastname   8 years ago

My dad always use to say that after the Mafia crumbled, the unions basically took their place doing the same things they had before, but worse, only without having to give a cut to some guidos. I don't see how people can call themselves pro-union considering that they are basically extortionists for upper-middle class labor cartels. It's as bizarre a thing as those John Gotti fan clubs.

    5. John C. Randolph   8 years ago

he was forced to sign an amendment to his Parks and Recreation contract

If he was forced, then the amendment he signed is invalid. He should reopen for lunch and tell the mobsters to go fuck themselves.

Bloom left early the next morning for an interview, but Ross remained in his bed, where a manager at the hotel found her, the pal said.

The same thing happened to me when I was tending bar at the Utica, New York Ramada Inn. One night character actor M. Emmet Walsh walked in, had a drink, and the next morning the hotel manager found me in the room, and I was fired. Plus, had to pay for the room damages!
