The House is expected to vote on an Obamacare repeal today.
Track record will remain intact.
Hello.
Obamacare: I told you back when it was enacted and I'm telling you now:
You're fucked.
No matter how many tears.
DO WE CANADIANS HAVE TO TELL YOU EVERYTHING?!
State media in North Korea accused state media in China of increasing tensions by calling for more sanctiosn over North Korea's nuclear program.
May need to rewrite those articles saying North Korea behaves rationally
LeBron James surpassed Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for number 2 on the all-time NBA playoff scoring list.
He never had to drag Walton and Lanier up and down the court for 48 minutes!
So he is number 2 now, the loser.
Pitch hitting for Pedro Borbon... Manny Mota. Mota.. Mota..
This guy gets it.
Roger, Roger.
What's the vector, Victor?
Emmanuel Marcon and Marine Le Pen met for a televised debate before Sunday's second round presidential election in France.
And now have plans to join Morning Joe for a double wedding.
Rachel Maddow will hype Le Pen's "cold feet" on twitter an hour before the ceremony, talk endlessly about spousal support payment systems, then reveal that the bridal party had to make a run to Walmart to get a space heater because the poor ventilation in the chuch has left the bridal suite chilly.
That WaPo article is funny, almost every reference to Le Pen as "Far right candidate Le Pen". They can't use it too often, methinks.

I'm expected to yawn today.
Much like the Sarlacc.

It's not okay to make fun of the Norks' accent like that.
Not getting hopes up as RINOs tend to ruin conservative agendas.
If a reduction of spending is involved, I predict no passage.
Agreed. And this whole thing is just going to blow up in the Republicans face because now they own it. If they had an ounce of sense, they would attack Obamacare in a piecemeal fashion, e.g. promote catastrophic coverage with increased allowances for medical savings accounts, allow purchases across state lines, etc.
Agreed. Is there something in House rules that prevents this? Why can't lots of things - say, Planned Parenthood funding - be subjected to separate votes rather than buried in 1,000 page omnibus bills? I know, log-rolling and all, but still why not tackle one thing at a time?
The modern filibuster -- GOP only has 52 votes in the Senate, so everything is held hostage by Dems. I personally think the GOP is happy with this excuse to do nothing.
Not getting hopes up as RINOs tend to ruin conservative agendas.
In case you hadn't been paying attention for the past year or so, it's the House Freedom Caucus types who are the RINOs. The modern Republican Party loves big government, they just think it should go to THEM and not THE OTHERS. The libertarian-minded HFC crowd are the outliers.
Holy shit, I thought that Somalia was a lawless anarchy. Then things got so bad that they had a minister of public works?
I saw a story yesterday where Rush was supposed to be blistering the Trump administration for capitulating to the Democrats by giving them everything they wanted in the budget deal. Rush has been on board the Trump train, so I thought that could be good.
He had Pence on his show and was hitting him up with some questions. One of Pence's responses was, "Hey, we got 21 million more for defense!". And evidently Rush was happy with this.
So upon being criticized for more spending, the Trump administration counters with "we raised spending too, on our things!". And conservatives rejoice.
People like Rush have to be a little careful. They got a lot of mileage out of bashing Obama, and John Boehner, and Paul Ryan, for busting the budget, but it was all just theater. They don't really give a shit about government spending, they just want more clicks and more listeners to fuel the outrage machine. So, now, he has to pretend that all of his past bloviating about "out of control spending" wasn't just opportunistic bluster and was based on some semblance of principle, but he can't fire up the outrage machine as hot because the guy in charge is on his nominal team and his listeners are mostly Trump-worshipping MAGA freaks. In some ways I don't envy these people very much, they sold out their principles long ago and they have to continue to come up with ever more creative ways of maintaining the fiction of any sort of principled ideology. But then I look at people like Sean Hannity and I wonder how he is even still earning a paycheck. He must be laughing every day when the cameras and the microphones turn off.
I think Rush is smart enough to know he's actually playing a game and that he's good at it.
Hannity, on the other hand, seems to be so intellectually feeble that he actually believes everything he says.
Who will build the ROADZ now?
Somalia's minister of public works was shot and killed in Mogadishu.
[insert generic roads joke here]

Did they have time to read it?
Don't be silly. It has to be passed to find out what's in it.
"China had better ponder over the grave consequences to be entailed by its reckless act of chopping down the pillar of the DPRK-China relations," the commentary said
Or?
The latest from MiniTru, Winston:
Bill Nye's history is edited to satisfy transgender advocates
I'm all for transgender acceptance and all that. I think it's a real thing. But this is getting fucking retarded. A lesson on basic biology doesn't need to get into gender theory and every possible abnormality a person can have.
okay, wise guys. Which one of you is this?
Real Life "Fargo". Oregon man arrested after trying to feed co-worker into wood chipper head-first
No, no, libertarians only feed judges into woodchippers, not co-workers.

GOP blasts "Rocky" theme over speakers at morning meeting
Truly, they are the heroes of their own story. Their own very, very underwhelming and sad story.
