Trump on NATO: 'No Longer Obsolete'
Another flip-flop from the king

Having just ditched his previous positions on Syria and the Export-Import Bank, President Donald Trump went for the trifecta today and reversed himself on the North Atlantic Treaty Organization too. During the campaign, you may recall, Trump famously declared the alliance "obsolete." This afternoon he shook the Etch-a-Sketch and started over: "I said it was obsolete. It's no longer obsolete."
I don't have a photo from the press conference, so this will have to do:

It's still pretty obsolete, only now that we're doing things that the U.N. isn't happy about again we need to use NATO as our 'see, we're still cool because consensus' card.
The U.N. is just a useful as the League of Nations. (I.E. Not very.)
Only more successful at fooling people into thinking that it is.
Those reset buttons work wonders.
How to press Trump's reset button
You first.
I see Trump's ExIm Bank flipflop from earlier. I guess before long Trump will declare The Swamp doesn't need to be drained after all. It's a good, no, a great swamp. We need more swamps like it.
"I said it was obsolete. It's no longer obsolete."
So what exactly did NATO do to make itself no longer obsolete? I mean, Trump tweets at it that it's getting old and frumpy and he's thinking about trading it in on a younger, sexier alliance and suddenly it starts hitting the gym and laying off the pancakes? It's not as if Trump was just talking out his ass about NATO being obsolete, the man knows more about the military than the generals and more about international relations than the diplomats so obviously NATO's done something to throw a little spark in the partnership. Maybe it was the part where Trump started whining like a little bitch about how unfair it is that nobody else pays as much as the US and everybody started making there-there soothing noises at him to make him stop blubbering and now he's happy as a pig in shit just because he's the center of attention?
Donald J. Trump

I said this stuff when I was like 70. Sad!

The hits just keep on coming. This shit sure didn't take long.
"No longer obsolete" ... as opposed to "never was obsolete".
So what has REALLY changed ... other than Donnie standing next to the Secretary-General while uttering his insightful reassessment of NATO?
I love the Trump era. Journalists actually reporting on what the administration is doing, rather than just slurping the cock as they're told.
