Is the fact that Hollywood, sports, colleges, retail outlets, etc. is so politicized now a reflection of the country as a whole or it is just that the left has a stronghold in these places and are trying to push their "religion" on the rest of us?

Can't I just get my dose of politics when I seek it out, rather than being bombarded from every side all day long?

The Left is pushing hard for a system that has failed so many times. It's very frustrating.

  Hollywood we expect to be sanctimonious, but retailers and other consumer facing companies should know better than to take a political stand when they don't need to, alienating half their customer base.
