Tune into Kennedy on Fox Business Network (FBN) tonight at 8p ET, where I'll be on the party panel alongside feisty FBN contributor Dagen McDowell and token liberal and all-around-nice-guy Stephen Sigmund.

We'll be talking (what else?) that whole debate thing. Who won? Did either of them have any ideas of actual substance? Did Lester Holt tip the scales for Clinton?

And then the real horror…everyone hates the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) and it does nothing to keep us safe, so naturally politicians want to put it in charge of security on buses and trains.

What is often described as a single, unified list is actually a collection of lists...

1 - The FBI's Terrorist Screening Database is the U.S. government's primary watch list... It contains about 1 million records. About 5,000 of those records ? 0.5 percent ? are about Americans.

The screening database is subdivided into other lists. The most well-known of these is 2 - the no-fly list... which contains about 81,000 names, up from 16 on the eve of September 11, 2001. About 1,000 are Americans.

You'd think if there are 1000 Americans considered dangerous enough to ban from flying entirely... then they are probably dangerous enough to take to court, have deported - whatever. It seems ridiculous to have our entire national security infrastructure obsessing itself over 1000 people who "Might" commit terror acts.

Of course, the problem with being more assertive about neutralizing these 'potential threats' is that it would force the govt to explain WHY these people are considered threats.
