Tomorrow, the new editor in chief of Reason magazine, Katherine Mangu-Ward, will conduct a live Q&A with former Reason top editor Virginia Postrel (now a columnist at Bloomberg View). The conversation starts at 7 P.M. Pacific time/10 P.M. Eastern time.

Go to Reason's Facebook page for the live stream, which will take place at the Los Angeles headquarters of the Reason Foundation, the nonprofit that publishes this website, the print magazine, and Reason TV.

You don't need to have a Facebook account to watch along, and we'll also embed the feed here at Reason.com.

Katherine and Virginia will talk about the history and future of the planet's only publication dedicated to "Free Minds & Free Markets," the 2016 election, the future of technology and innnovation, and much, much more. They'll also be taking questions from the Facebook comments section, so tune in early and fire off your queries.

While you're waiting for tomorrow (will it never come?!?), check out Virginia's books at Amazon.com. They include 1998's The Future and Its Enemies, 2003's The Substance of Style, and 2013's The Power of Glamour.

Here's Katherine on C-SPAN's Washington Journal on August 17:

Tell Virginia that we loves her.

    1. Brochettaward   9 years ago

We are like the child that Virginia smothered in its sleep and left in a dumpster somewhere. She doesn't love us.

      1. AlmightyJB   9 years ago

I'm sure KMW feels the same.

        1. RBS   9 years ago

I wonder what she thinks of the Facebook commenters?

          1. AlmightyJB   9 years ago

            Everyone hates Facebook commenters

  2. Crusty Juggler   9 years ago

Virginia, would any of this have happened if you were in charge?

    1. RBS   9 years ago

      NO! DRINK!

  3. Fist of Etiquette   9 years ago

10PM? This kind of middle of the night shenanigans didn't happen when Welch was in charge.

  4. Bubba Jones   9 years ago

    Someone stole her purple hair.

    "Go to Reason's Facebook Page tomorrow at 10 P.M. ET/7 P.M. PT!"

No thanks. FaceBook is not the asshole of the Internet. FaceBook is the giant stinking turd of the Internet.

Where'd the purple go KMW? Did Welch make you get rid of the dye job before making you Editor in Chief?

    1. Brochettaward   9 years ago

Grown men who walk around with backpacks have no room to judge anyone.

  7. AlmightyJB   9 years ago

I can't wait to not be there.

I think he really is trying to get me to hate him even more than I already do. What a fucking condescending prick.

Holding black people to the same standards as white people is racist

  9. Jerryskids   9 years ago

Wait, is it Virginia we're not supposed to talk about and Lucy we're not supposed to talk to? I thought it was the other way 'round.

  10. Homple   9 years ago

I don't know you people did to Ms. Postrel, but I can see why someone who writes a book about Glamour would be uncomfortable in this wretched hive of scum and villainy.

I've made $64,000 so far this year working online and I'm a full time student. Im using an online business opportunity I heard about and I've made such great money. It's really user friendly and I'm just so happy that I found out about it. Heres what I do,

In the clip KMW says libertarians go along with Ron Bailey about AGW being real. Apparently she doesn't read these comments, and is also scientifically illiterate.

Can't decide if she's a step down from Welch - his major blind spot is his Trump derangement that is likely only temporary.
