Following reports of gangs of immigrant men groping and sexually assaulting teenagers girls and young women at youth music festivals, Swedish police have come up with a way to prevent such attacks. They are passing our wristbands that look like police tape and have printed on them, in Swedish, "Police Line – Do not Cross #dontgrope."

Isn't the obvious European solution to ban music festivals?

If the government or the EU can't address a problem this basic, it shouldn't surprise anybody to see more countries a) move further and further to the right and b) leave the EU.

Sweden isn't even in monetary union, and one of their biggest trading partners just left the EU. They need to renegotiate their trade partnerships anyway.

Incidentally, there is something the U.S. government could do to help alleviate this situation.

We should start offering asylum to Swedish women.

Not the men, just the women.
