Its like the Nolan Batman was expecting you to see the Keaton batman as the same guy, or something. It an awkward approach they took. The whole "Q is a young genius", "MoneyPenny is a hot black woman" thing hasn't seemed to work that well as far as i see it.

Although i think the way they handled "M" (whatshername? Judy Dench) as Bond's ally who gets killed ... i think that's the one aspect of the 4 film-arc which actually works really well. She's sort of his one 'real ally" and the real plot of all 4 films is that "Bond Can't Trust His Own People"...
