Lindsey Graham Says GOP Has Gone "Batshit Crazy"
SC senator calls Trump a "loser," jokes about killing Ted Cruz on floor of the Senate.

Lindsey Graham is still smarting from his

failed bid for the Republican presidential nomination, which rarely rose above 1% in the polls, and now he's in full DGAF mode when it comes to the remaining prospects in the field.
The South Carolina senator, known for never saying no to any military intervention or Sunday morning talk show booking request, unleashed his frustrations on the party electorate who so soundly rejected him in a series of comments yesterday.
First, Graham spoke with reporters in the Capitol basement, where he repeatedly used a form of Donald Trump's favorite slur on the Republican front-runner himself, calling the New York billionaire "generally a loser as a person and a candidate" who is "ill-suited for the job."
Later at the annual dinner for the Washington Press Club Foundation, Graham lamented "My party has gone batshit crazy" and compared himself to the deceased assisted-suicide doctor Jack Kevorkian for throwing his support to Jeb Bush after dropping out of the race. Bush suspended his very expensive failure of a campaign last week, but Graham's Twitter page still features a "South Carolina Backs Jeb!" banner.
Graham saved his most biting remarks for Texas Senator Ted Cruz, currently running a distant 2nd to Trump in most national polls:
"A good Republican would defend Ted Cruz," the South Carolina Republican said, pausing for effect. "That ain't me. If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, nobody would convict you."
The line reportedly ellicited big laughs and even though Graham believes Trump will "lose badly" in the general election, he begrudgingly said he would support The Donald in the event he wins the nomination.
Graham compared supporting Trump to taking a ride on the Titanic after you saw the movie, but what are you gonna do, this is a two-party system.

"Yeah, I got a solution, you're a dick!"
"South Carolina, what's up!"
A very limp dick.
I'm sure the sight of a man laid out on the floor while secreting body fluids tends to harden up ol' Lindsey right up.
Bah! I butchered that. Happy Friday!

What's Graham planning to do? Slap Cruz to death with his hanky?
Ouch.
Almost I am persuaded to support Ted Cruz.
OFFS.
Graham so jelly.
War mongerer (named "Lindsey" !) carrying water for John McCain, what a jerk....he wld "reluctantly support Trump"? Graham has never had any integrity.
But can I make $5000 a month working from home on my computer?
Really?
If you only had a website with a vague title like http://www.earnbigmoney85.com I could believe you!
The 85 is key. They are helping so many people earn so much money that they need 84 other instances of the site, it's totally legit and not shady at all
Yes the GOP has gone batshit crazy, but have you seen the Dem side? They are only slightly less batshit crazy, and they don't even have a Trump to blame it on.
Everyone's gone batshit crazy this year.
To be fair the contingent of Democrats that was going to vote for Bernie was ALWAYS batshit crazy.
But where are all the pragmatic moderates?
It's like everyone drunk a different flavor of koolaid.
"Pragmatic moderates" have gotten us into this mess. Aren't you paying attention? I'm a Cruz guy, but I'm sure watching what's going on with Sanders and Trump.
Looks like our John has Trump's twitter password:
Donald J. TrumpVerified account
?@realDonaldTrump
Leightweight chocker Marco Rubio looks like a little boy on stage. Not presidential material!
You know what's really crazy?
The Repubs are going after Trump harder than they ever went after Obama. Which is a big part of the reason that they've got a Trump infestation.
Honestly, I didn't think anyone would generate the contempt I have for Reid, Wossname-Schultz, Pelosi, Obama, et al, but these establishment Repubs have managed.
They are over a barrel. Either they end up with Hillary or a loose cannon that will get the party blamed for everything he does.
It's their own fault for not having a viable candidate ready and letting Trump run as a Republican in the first place, but the future is pretty grim if Trump is the nominee.
Grim? Trump is vaudeville. A clown show. NOTHING grim about that. It is way too funny for mere words.
Their future. These are people who don't want a clown running their party.
letting Trump run as a Republican in the first place
I still haven't figured out how Sanders is allowed to run for the Democrat nom, since he isn't even a member of the party.
A party cannot legally prevent anyone from running for their nomination if that person insists on doing so.
But they could have called his bluff and denied him a place in the debates. But they were afraid of a third party run--which might have flamed out by now. The media loves to destroy third party runs.
Curious. Do you think there are like 3 or 4 people that take applications and then decide who can run in the GOP primary or something to that effect?
No, but they could have fought against him early on, applied pressure to reduce the clown car of early candidates, threatened people, blackmailed and bribed.
They believed their own hype that there was a shadow America out there desperate to vote against Obama by voting for any dipshit they threw out there, despite the lessons of the last two elections.
"The Repubs are going after Trump harder than they ever went after Obama. Which is a big part of the reason that they've got a Trump infestation."
Come on, that is bullshit. Obama got absolutely hammered by the GOP throughout the 08 cycle once it was clear he'd beat Hillary, and it continued at least through his reelection. It probably has quieted down a bit lately, but only really because he's been an ineffective lame duck. I don't like Obama or the establishment GOP, but don't rewrite history to pretend that the GOP never bothered going after the guy.
So yet another reason to vote for Cruz.
I thought they had gone gay. Like their idol A. Lincoln. Is that you Lindsey?
As bad as Trump is, he's better than Graham. Graham is a one issue politician: WAR!!!!!!
The biggest loser of the nominating process starts calling people names. Whu does anyone think that the
1/10th of a percent of Repubs that voted for him have a right to even voice an opinion. Graham is a loser and a traitor to the party - he's the insane moron whose vote allowed Lynch to become Atty Gen. Thanks a lot Lindsey, you little man with the appropriate little mind. Now, how soon does this turd come up for re-election?
If he keeps talking like that his poll numbers are going to skyrocket.
I don't know. Talking about murdering your opponent and getting away with it seems to make Graham the crazy one. What got his panties in a wad?
"Graham compared supporting Trump to taking a ride on the Titanic after you saw the movie, but what are you gonna do, this is a two-party system."
That's a perfectly rational reaction to seeing that piece-of-shit movie.
Graham's the guy who wants to nuke the mid-east in general, right?
You're thinking of Cytotoxic.
This guy tells it like it is. He should run for President...
...of Retards Anonymous.
If supporting Trump is like sailing the Titanic, supporting Graham is like putting the tip of an ICBM in your mouth and hitting launch.
I like it: it's both fitting and vaguely homoerotic. Good job.
+1 Facial
Cruz has the Eliot Spitzer problem. There's so little goodwill in his own party that the first time he really needs people to back him up, the shivs will come out instead.
