Pakistani security forces have been trying to stop reporters from digging into the background of Tashfeen Malik, one of the two people who killed 14 people in San Bernardino, California, recently. Professors at a university Malik attended have been warned not to talk to the media, and one says security officials removed her records. Reporters say they have been threatened with arrest if they don't drop their investigations.

Keeping transcripts secret, they're probably hopeful she'll run for president one day.
IF they want to maximize interest in her background, they're on the right track. I can't tell from here if they're botching a cover up or creating a bigger story.
Yeaahhh, about last night..the Trump thread. Things were said, pants were shat, but let's just try to move on awkwardly, mkay?
Well I'll be darned. Pakistan is getting to be more and more like the United States under the DemoGOP every day. I'll bet that if any of her Mission Improbable team is killed or captured, the Pakistani State Department will disavow all knowledge of her actions. (Cut to puff of smoke, cue music...)
I can see why anyone stupid enough to consider voting for a Dem or Republican would, by elimination, realize Trump, with all of his flaws magnified by Reason and Doonesbury alike, is the cream of that sorry crop.
Doonesbury officially told its last funny joke on July 18, 1978, when it made fun of Mark Spitz.

...and it wasn't even all that funny, just in relation to al the totally unfunny stuff since...Nancy is funnier than Doonesbury
