OT - Was having a discussion about the Confederate flag, and "why not just the Nazi flag?" came up. While it seems that everyone who flies the Nazi flag these days is an actual "Nazi" (white supremacist, etc.), and many Confederate flag wavers are indeed asshats, a big chunk of people who are OK with the Confederate flag mostly remember it from the Dukes of Hazzard, etc. i.e., the meaning has changed for many people, especially those who haven't directly experienced flag-bearing racism.
