SLAVERY!
It's $10.41 an hour. How are they suppose to buy cocktails on that?!?
You can eat and drink pretty well just going to the various receptions all the special interest groups have.
better than Conde Nast, less glamorous though
What do they think this is? Hillary Clinton's office?
There once as an intern at Reason
The feds then charged him with high treason
The shit hit the fan
He ducked out and ran
And now it's always hunting season!
*looks around, begins to applaud*
NEEDZ MOAR COCKTAILZ!
Serious request: can you hire someone with a stronger background in economic and/or foreign policy analysis?
I appreciate the role that people like ENB and Rico play - the culture stuff can be interesting and important.
But economics and foreign policy are weak areas for Reason IMO and that's pretty surprising since they are both historically areas with where libertarians have been very strong (particularly economics, which is probably the strongest area for libertarians).

You should check out the print edition then. There is a pretty big difference between the two these days.
They do so much better on economics than foreign policy, but mostly because their foreign policy writers are so incredibly bad. It seems like there must be a consensus among the writers and editors that foreign policy is entirely about having the right opinion or moral judgment, and that there's no such thing as being more knowledgeable...or that it's unnecessary in order to form the right opinion. That is the only explanation that I can see.
I still think their ecomonic coverage is pretty weak. There has been almost nothing about the Chinese economic problems, little about recent Fed decisions and how they have affected the market, little about the TPP (which bridges both areas).
foreign policy is entirely about having the right opinion or moral judgment
So, feelz and intentions, not results?
pretty much
Hear, hear!
I want someone to poll the Millennials. I mean, will someone please poll the Millennials. Now that Ekins is gone, who's going to poll the Millennials?
Jared from Subway?
Quebec beat them to that
Warm Bodies was filmed there, among others
oops, wrong thread
Every time I see a post recruiting interns, I am just confused as to why the interns must be in DC. Writing, research, and proofreading can all be done remotely thanks to the glorious invention of the Internet and it's vasty tubes.
So what you guys really want is someone to pick up coffee and dry cleaning, right?
Personally, I think spending some time in the belly of the beast is good for young libertarians.
That may be.
But it would take a helluva lot more than that to motivate me to even think about going to DC, and I like writing and reading, etc.
Im making over $7k a month working part time. I kept hearing other people tell me how much money they can make online so I decided to look into it. Well, it was all true and has totally changed my life.
This is what I do. http://www.OnlineJobs100.Com
