I get the point of the signs, but why is that guy pleasuring himself by backing up against that ledge? Is the IRS filled with objectum sexuals? Did I miss another scandal?
No, he's clearly ogling the twin prostitutes off the side of the panel. He's not even looking towards the signs.
I get the point of the guy pleasuring himself by backing up against that ledge, but why are there only two threatening signs?
Because, if you take another look, those aren't numbers, that's an ISIS poster!
No, this is an Isis poster.
I loved that show.
Wasn't the dog on Downtown Abbey named Isis and they killed it off because PBS viewers aren't intelligent enough to recognize it being separate from the Islamic State group?

"but why is that guy pleasuring himself by backing up against that ledge?"
Limbering up for his IRS audit.
I've made $64,000 so far this year working online and I'm a full time student. I'm using an online business opportunity I heard about and I've made such great money. It's really user friendly and I'm just so happy that I found out about it. Heres what I've been doing, http://www.wixjob.com

You forgot Essence of Warty.
Welcome.
No one can forget Essence of Warty. But he is trying, oh, dear God, he is trying.
oh thanks... the memories come flooding back, tearing out the very essence of my anus soul.
I know to be one of the kool kids here you have to be angry at the government for everything but is it that weird to want to have health insurance?
The IRS sucks 1000x more than the silly insurance mandate does. Hell, the Medicare mandate sucks 100x more than the ACA mandate.
"...we will be able to look back and tell our children that this was the moment when we began to provide care for the sick and good jobs to the jobless..."
10 million private sector jobs created since end of financial collapse:

"Let the strong wind of mushroom country blow across the annihilated enemy fairyland!!"
iow --"Git yer goddam data outta here, boy! I got some redneck hate to let out!"
"Let us turn the whole country into a socialist fairyland by the joint operation of the army and people!"
Hitting myself in head with a hammer and still see if I can counter.
Whack! Part time jobs count the same as full time jobs in the BLS numbers.
Whack! Wages are stagnant despite adding those jobs proving that point.
Whack! Seniors are reentering the Workforce and youth unemployment is rising, disproving the "it's the baby boomer's retirement" that's driving down the labor force part. rate.
Don't bother, it's just a retard spouting talking points, it doesn't really think. So no facts or logic will have any effect.
You're not dumb enough to believe a McCain or Romney would have done better I hope.
You're not dumb enough to believe a McCain or Romney would have done better I hope.
Idiot, the proper response is BOOOOSH!!11!!!
You forgot to mention that the disability rate has skyrocketed and U6 is still terrible.
Lol, you goddamn retard.
"I know to be one of the kool kids here you have to be angry at the government for everything but is it that weird to want to have health insurance?"
Socialism, like the ancient ideas from which it springs, confuses the distinction between government and society. As a result of this, every time we object to a thing being done by government, the socialists conclude that we object to its being done at all. We disapprove of state education. Then the socialists say that we are opposed to any education. We object to a state religion. Then the socialists say that we want no religion at all. We object to a state-enforced equality. Then they say that we are against equality. And so on, and so on. It is as if the socialists were to accuse us of not wanting persons to eat because we do not want the state to raise grain."
Despite its faults the ACA is at heart a marketplace where private insurers sell their product to private individuals. That is a fact. It is far superior to Medicare or single-payer like Canada has.
(Those faults include the mandates and subsidies).
"Government is the great fiction through which everybody endeavors to live at the expense of everybody else."
-Bastiat
Despite its faults the ACA is at heart a marketplace where private insurers sell their product to private individuals...at gunpoint.
FTFY
A market where the government sets prices and product selection. Some might call that a cartel.
The government does not set prices but they do establish a minimum product requirement much like the states did in the past.
Yeah, a cafeteria style selection would have been better I admit.
Yeah, actually they do. Its how they are forcing healthy people to pay for the sick.
They also set the cost of care vs. cost of admin ratio.
+1 Bastiat. No?
WTF, WTF bested me by a second.
"it must necessarily follow, that some one portion of the community must pay in taxes more than it receives back in disbursements; while another receives in disbursements more than it pays in taxes? The necessary result, then, of the unequal fiscal action of the government is, to divide the community into two great classes; one consisting of those who, in reality, pay the taxes, and, of course, bear exclusively the burthen of supporting the government; and the other, of those who are the recipients of their proceeds, through disbursements, and who are, in fact, supported by the government; or, in fewer words, to divide it into tax-payers and tax-consumers"
Not Bastiat. Know who?
John C. Calhoun
You win this round WTF.
*Backs away slowly*
Nixon?
No - Hitler! Right?
No?
????
"Hitler" is of course always an acceptable answer.
*SLAP!*
Here's the money shot from Calhoun.
But the effect of this is to place them in antagonistic relations, in reference to the fiscal action of the government, and the entire course of policy therewith connected. For, the greater the taxes and disbursements, the greater the gain of the one and the loss of the other?and vice versa; and consequently, the more the policy of the government is calculated to increase taxes and disbursements, the more it will be favored by the one and opposed by the other.
That's actually not a terrible post. I mostly agree with that one. More like this, less like the other shit you post.
Who do you think is responsible for enforcing the insurance mandate. So now we have precedent that the government can fine you for literally anything, and you just shrug it off because you're hacktastic, Mr. One True Libertarian.
The IRS sucks, this is why we are giving them more responsibility.
-Shreeky the Plug
But it's not a fine - it's a tax. Chief Justice Roberts says so. In the case of the insurance mandate it is a tax on being a live human being. I could have sworn head taxes were unconstitutional.
it that weird to want to have health insurance?
Not at all. The problem is that people are being coerced to purchase it. Not that you would understand the difference between choice and coercion.
The IRS sucks 1000x more than the silly insurance mandate does. Hell, the Medicare mandate sucks 100x more than the ACA mandate.
IRS founded: 1953
Medicare Enacted: 1965
ACA: Now.
So, if we consider the ACA to be 'one suck' by my calculations, suckage of these government mandates grows exponentially to about the 6th power.
Considering the immovability of the IRS and Medicare, best to oppose the suckage now before it grows.
Insurance was ALWAYS available. Stop spreading the lie.
Because of the ACA, my family now pays $4600 more per year for health insurance than we did prior. We are still waiting for that $2500/year savings President Obama told us we would realize. We were not avle to keep the plans we had before because the new law made them unavailable. The replacement plans are not as good.
The IRS is being used to enforce the ACA.
Signups for ObamaCare are surging in southern states, with increases of nearly 100 percent in some states compared to last year, federal health officials said Wednesday.
Texas, Louisiana, South Carolina and Mississippi have each seen 80 percent more signups compared to last year, Deputy Administrator Andy Slavitt said.

DEATH SPIRAL!
I can already envision them descending upon some future Portlandia metropolis. In some glassy corporate high rise, xir is giving a presentation to xir's gender fluid co-workers regarding a new line of artisanal shirazz for otherkin and organic kale enemas when the desks begin to shake. They look out upon the horizon?they're coming? After a good long group cuddle cry they assemble a ten thousand strong twitter army for a candle light vigil protest / slut walk. There are no survivors.
*perks up*
Tell me more about this "slut walk"...
Sluts don't walk, they slide.
And trailer park girls go 'round the outside, 'round the outside, 'round the outside...
Does that mean what I think it means?
"make fruits cascade down"
Just two of them.
imagine you have cystitis...
Ew!
Too bad it has already significantly overrun its cost projections. So now we have taxpayers just propping up insurance companies.
Posted, "Taxes are the price we pay for living in a civilized society" on my FB page. Got about 20 likes, then edited it to, "High taxes are the price we pay for living in a crony capitalist society". Keeps the likes and comments the same.
Can I trade in the PC and multiculti parts of 'civilized' society for lower taxes?
As Sugarfree said to me, "Do it, pussy."
*Grabs axe and targe*
Lets go Pillage!
All I got is a spatula, but I got your back.
"I got a rock..."
Good grief.
multiculti
I'm stealing that. Thanks!
The brits coined it, so go ahead.
The *brits*, eh?
*** reconsiders ***
Can I trade in the PC and multiculti parts of 'civilized' society for lower taxes?
This is the Land Of the Free. You aren't allowed to do that.
Fuck - the shrieking is so loud I can't hear myself think. Isn't the PPACA affecting, like, 8% of the economy or something.
To the subject at hand:
1) Don't get it.
2) NEEDS MOAR LABELZZZZ
3) Awful, therefore, perfect.
4) Happy FUCKING Friday, Reasonoids. I hope you all contract horrid diseases and waste away waiting to receive healthcare as a result of bureaucratic fumbling caused by the clusterfuck that is the PPACA, eventually succumbing in a dirty doctor's office in Mexico, having fled there hoping to avail yourself of their superior healthcare options, but instead dying in squalor, shattered, afraid and alone.
Can I die, neglected and unserved, in a filthy VA clinic, on my 7th month of trying to get an appointment?
That costs you extra.
Hell, soldier - you just need to realize you're already dead....
/Band of Brothers
That would be bad for the numbers, try for the 6th month to lower the average wait times.
That is reasonable. I will ask an orderly to smother me with an enema bag or such at month 6.
You probably wouldn't have to ask.
Oh, PS
*SLAP!*
*slap!*
*SLAP!*
*slap!*
*slappity, slap, slap, slap*
The ACA might be awesome. The problem is the President isn't positive about that. Until they fully implement it and we see all the awesome (sarcasm) third and fourth order affects we won't know.
http://www.washingtonpost.com/.....story.html
So, saying the ACA is good is a touch premature. We have plenty of time to see what type of shitty law it can really be. I personally think moving deadlines was done to get past the midterms, but unless this turns out better than imagined it will be an issue this next go.
IOW, almost 5 years after passing it, we still don't know what's in it.
Only because the more painful parts were illegally delayed for political gain by Mr. Pen and Phone.
Maybe I'm showing my age, but shouldn't there be twin girls chewing gum here?
Only if the US Treasury were somehow included -doublemint
My last pay check was $ 9500 working 10 hours a week online. My Friend's has been averaging 14k for months now and she works about 21 hours a week. I can't believe how easy it was once I tried it out

That's insane... ISIS poster? Ha-ha, you totally nailed it! I would like to add to those who complain about the government interventions, that it does not always mean that less taxes and intervention = better. Actually, just by looking at current RE trends in Vancouver and Toronto, I would appreciate intervention.
