Man Flies Family and Two Nannies on a Private Jet to Davos, Where He Says Our 'Lifestyle Expectations Are Far Too High'
Jeff Greene has a vision.
Here's how a Bloomberg dispatch from Davos begins:

Billionaire Jeff Greene, who amassed a multibillion dollar fortune betting against subprime mortgage securities, says the U.S. faces a jobs crisis that will cause social unrest and radical politics.
"America's lifestyle expectations are far too high and need to be adjusted so we have less things and a smaller, better existence," Greene said in an interview today at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland. "We need to reinvent our whole system of life."
Three paragraphs later:
Greene, who flew his wife, children and two nannies on a private jet plane to Davos for the week…

Addendum: Whoops! I see Nick already blogged this. Well, here's your chance to talk about it again.

Wasn't this posted yesterday?
And yes, he's just another hypocritical, left-wing moonbat.
Meh, calling out hypocrits can be fun, but it usually leaves me feeling like I'm in the 99%'rs camp, which I refuse to be confused with. I'd much rather just call out their proposals for what they are and leave the hypocrisy to the low-info set.
You know who else wanted to "reinvent our whole system of life"...
NIXON?!?!
Mao?
Bill "New Covenant" Clinton?
General Electric?
Rob Reiner?
Gary Null?
NIXON?!?! AGAIN?!??
Idc what anyone says. It's always Hitler.
Patrick Henry?

In the absense of morning links, I'll post this here.
Bill attempts to set up a procedure for police to challenge Laurie List status.
Under Senate Bill 72, law enforcement officers on the "Laurie List" of officers whose past conduct undermines their credibility as trial witnesses would ask a judge to determine if the information should be given to a defendant.
Prosecutors have to provide the defense with any exculpatory evidence that would allow the defense to question the officer's reliability as a witness under a U.S. Supreme Court ruling.
Bill opponents, which include the Attorney General's Office, defense attorneys, the American Civil Liberties Union and the N.H. police chiefs association, said the process would interfere with a criminal proceeding, although they agreed there should be some standardized procedure and a way for officers to appeal being placed on the list.
The bill's prime sponsor, Sen. Sharon Carson, R-Londonderry, told the Senate Judiciary Committee Thursday the bill establishes a procedure, but does not take away a defendant's rights or protect bad cops.
Sorry, blatant violation of due process. Its exculpatory evidence. The accused gets it. Period.
But seriously, no A.M. links?
WTF?!?!
All of them together on one jet, and not taking individual planes, is proof they've reined in their lifestyle expectations
Works best if operated by Malaysian Air.
God forbid a Top.Man. should have to travel in First Class on a commercial flight where he would be forced to rub elbows with the hoi polloi and maybe get measles or ebola or listen to some pissant millionaire natter on about his 50' yacht and the time he shook hands with Hillary and Bill at a fundraiser in Hollywood.
Wouldn't even acknowledge someone with only a 50 footer.
Re: alt-text...Cripes, Kissinger looks about the same shape as a Dalek!
Didn't Kissinger start getting noticed about the same time Doctor Who went on the air?
Aw fuck it. I'm spamming my lynx here. Hope I don't get any in anyone's hair.
This lack of Mourning Lynx is unacceptable.

Surprised they didn't shoot it.
They are reluctant to shoot one of their own.
Ha! Didn't think of that!

Sucks the president's dick and is doomed to be single for life. If I was capable of sympathy I might feel sorry for her.

He does look hygienically challenged.

That's something you will only read in British papers.
What?
It's so cute when the Mail tries to compose a coherent sentence.
Why do they get to have all the fun...?

I'm done.
Need a smoke?
Q) Do you smoke after sex?
A) I dunno. Never looked.
"We need to reinvent our whole system of life."
Keeping up with the Steyers.
I'd love to reinvent my whole system of life so it included private jets to Switzerland.
A man named 'Rufus' went on a rampage armed with a spoon this morning only to be shot down by a drone. Police found a note on him which cryptically read...'Morning...links...damn you!'
We have sarc posting links here, and there are people in 3 other threads posting links. It's chaos. What do they think we are, animals?
This is what a libertarian world looks like, happy?
In a libertarian world, we wouldn't need to log in. And spam would police itself.

Let's drop this bozo and his family, naked, in the upper Amazon right now.
If he's still alive in a year, then I'll be glad to listen to his perspective on the importance of civilization. If he's not, good riddance.
"Billionaire Jeff Greene, who amassed a multibillion dollar fortune betting against subprime mortgage securities, says the U.S. faces a jobs crisis that will cause social unrest and radical politics."
Yes Jeff, and when society breaks down, they're coming after you first. That plan has to land somewhere, sooner or later.
