John Stossel: What The New York Times Gets Wrong

Last week, The New York Times reported that the Castro brothers opened a special Cuban business zone where foreign companies "would be given greater control over setting wages at factories. … (P)roposals would be approved or rejected within 60 days." That's right: If bosses want to give someone a raise, they have to wait up to two months for government approval! Yet the Times said that the zone offers "big incentives for investors."
That sort of economic cluelessness can be pretty standard for the Times, laments John Stossel. Times writers constantly call for more government, "job protections," etc. Few of them have ever run a business or invented something new themselves. If they had, they might understand this obvious cause of government failure.

So were you outside grabbing a smoke when John Stossel happened past and you head him lament the NYT's cluelessness? Or is there a missing link to this post?
Nope, that was the extent of the article.
(note - don't take my word for it, I'm a known liar)
So the office New Year's Eve party got started a little early... I guess you are perfect, Mr. Perfect Guy?!?
I am.
All evidence to the contrary is to be forwarded to the memory hole.
He's still writing the list of all the things the NYT got wrong.
With that headline, Stossel is obviously angling for a mention in James Taronto's column under "Longest Books Ever Written".
There's an entire newspaper devoted to what the NY Times gets wrong...it's the NY Times.
OK....that's funny!

Behold the superfluous! They are always sick; they vomit their gall and call it a newspaper.
Have I mentioned I like Stossel?
