    So,there's no Hooter's in NYC?

    1. Knarf Yenrab!   10 years ago

There are, but they must give equal weight to obese male applicants.

      1. Adans smith   10 years ago

So it's a back door way to cut down on calories customers ingest?

    2. db   10 years ago

Yes, but they rejected Chuck Schumer's application for entirely legitimate reasons.

Kineavy, who doubles as a hostess and Bruno's assistant, said Sistina's e-mail account then received two r?sum?s ? one from a man and one from a woman. Both turned out to be "testers" from the commission.

Kineavy says Sistina did not respond to either e-mail. But in its complaint against the restaurant, the commission claimed only one e-mail ? the one containing the woman's r?sum? ? was opened.

If that's not a clear case of oppression, I don't know what is.

    1. UnCivilServant   10 years ago

So just because the person who reviewed the other e-mail doesn't send read reciepts, they go ape?

I disable that crap right away on every e-mail client because people don't need to know when I've looked at their e-mail.

    2. CampingInYourPark   10 years ago

the one containing the woman's r?sum? ? was opened

And was obvious to the recipient, as the sender's email address was ihaveavagina@hotmail.com

      1. UnCivilServant   10 years ago

Oh, so they thought it was a porn link.

      2. Scruffy Nerfherder   10 years ago

        You can't fool me, that's a trick.

  4. Hyperion   10 years ago

So, what's the gender neutral word for Hostess? Do we really have to live on the same planet with these morons?

    1. Zombie Jimbo   10 years ago

      Greeter, just like at Wal-Mart.

      1. CampingInYourPark   10 years ago

        Greeter

My sin stained eyes read this as Geezer. Off to flog myself

      You could live on Mars.

    3. Scruffy Nerfherder   10 years ago

      Twinkie?

  5. ColonelEngineer   10 years ago

One of my favorite ironies in life is that SJWs love to tout "open mindedness" and diversity and...the fuck ever buzzwords are popular this week. "We're all equal!" they say. Yet their insistence on labels and pigeonholes is the complete antithesis of that initial thought. And the smaller, the better! As long as it's not so small that it's only one person. That's bad. That's what those stupid "lolbertarians" want. Nah. A niche group of 2 people is a-ok though.

"Fuck me running sideways, is 7 AM too early to drink?" - asks the former frat rat.

  6. Vernon Depner   10 years ago

This could be real trouble if they start applying it to sex ads on Craigslist.

  7. Palin's Buttplug   10 years ago

    Inspired by Elaine from Seinfeld.

  8. Rebel Scum   10 years ago

You can't even parody this bullshit. How long before you are fined for refusing sex? These type of people already want you charged with rape and found guilty on the basis of hearsay because one or both parties involved made a conscious, albeit poor, decision.

      Ever read Zamyatin's We?

      1. Scruffy Nerfherder   10 years ago

I chew my food exactly 50 times per the Taylor System and schedule my sexual intervals for every Wednesday at 2:45pm. Don't knock till you've tried it.

  9. Rufus J. Firefly   10 years ago

This has textbook mob tactics written all over it.

'You opened the wrong email. Pay up'.

And I'd like to meet the persons who when they discovered one of the two emails were opened. Did they high five each other and yell, 'Yes! We got the sonsabithces. For the people!'

    Bunch of thieves.

    1. UnCivilServant   10 years ago

I wonder if they could say "We were in the middle of reviewing applicants when the decision came down not to hire anyone for financial reasons. We stopped the review process before getting to the second resume".

Someone remind me why a sane NYC resident would not pack their shit and leave town while giving the bird.

Assloads of wealthy people willing to be crammed in like sardines to eat small amounts of pretentious food.

Google pay 97$ per hour my last pay check was $8500 working 1o hours a week online. My younger brother friend has been averaging 12k for months now and he works about 22 hours a week. I cant believe how easy it was once I tried it out.
