The two major political parties are more alike than they are different. On many paramount issues of our day, they are identical. Both stand for increasing the power of the government.

No matter which party is in power, there are two great freedoms being assaulted, argues Andrew Napolitano: the freedom to live and the freedom to speak. Republicans claim to be "pro-life", but will a newly revived Republican Congress address personhood? Don't hold your breath. And after the right to life, the next great freedom under siege is the freedom of speech. Here, too, both parties in Congress have failed us.
