Libertarian Candidates Could Decide Outcome in Georgia Races
Senate and governor races likely to go to runoffs.
This year, two third-party candidates could again wreak havoc on Georgia's top races with no less than control of the U.S. Senate possibly on the line. Nationally, Republicans are making a push to claim a Senate majority and can't afford to lose the Georgia seat held by Chambliss, who is retiring at the end of the year.
Statewide, Libertarian candidates in Georgia typically receive only a few percentage points but that could be the difference this year. Polls suggest very tight races between Democrat Michelle Nunn and Republican David Perdue for Senate and between Republican Gov. Nathan Deal and his Democratic challenger Jason Carter.

I did my part to force as many runoffs as possible.
The fact that there are runoffs means that the third-party candidates really only decide the election if one of them winds up in the top-two.
That having been said, having runoffs allows people to vote their conscience, but there are still a lot of people who don't get that and pull the lever for TEAM RED or TEAM BLUE.
