Second Ebola-Infected Dallas Health Worker Recently Flew From Cleveland
CDC reaching out to all passengers
The second Dallas health care worker who contracted the Ebola virus was on a flight the day before her symptoms, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said Wednesday. Now, the CDC wants to interview all 132 passengers who were on the plane with her.
The woman's name is Amber Vinson, the Reuters news agency reported.
"Because of the proximity in time between the evening flight and first report of illness the following morning, CDC is reaching out to passengers who flew on Frontier Airlines flight 1143 Cleveland to Dallas/Fort Worth Oct. 13," the CDC said in a statement. The flight landed Monday at 8:16 p.m. CT.
