Feds Cleared Ebola-Infected Nurse to Fly
What's a little fever among friends?
A second Texas nurse who has contracted Ebola told a U.S. health official she had a slight fever and was allowed to board a plane from Ohio to Texas, a federal source said on Wednesday, intensifying concerns about the U.S. response to the deadly virus.
Amber Vinson, 29, flew from Cleveland, Ohio, to Dallas, Texas, on Monday, the day before she was diagnosed with Ebola, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention said.
Vinson told the CDC her temperature was 99.5 Fahrenheit. Since that was below the CDC's temperature threshold of 100.4F, "she was not told not to fly," the source said.

Don't worry. According to our resident experts, there's no way ebola could spread in the US with our advanced health care system.
Thank you ... I was so worried and now you've put my fears at rest. I'm going put on my Hazmat PJs and get some sleep.
What with even highly trained nurses not knowing how to properly use their hand soap, latex gloves, and hazmat suits, I am quite sure that very-very soon, all 3 of these items will soon be "prescription required", so that the Doctors of Doctorology can make SURE that we have been properly trained! Better stock up on hand soap etc., while it is still easy to get!
