Ira Stoll on What to Expect from a GOP Congress

Let's say the Republicans retake Congress in next month's elections. What can we expect to see then? For one thing, fewer judges will get confirmed. And those who do make it through the Senate will be more moderate. At the same time, the Obama administration will face an onslaught of investigative oversight hearings on everything from Benghazi and Obamacare to the Secret Service.
But that, writes Ira Stoll, is just about it. As for the rest of the agenda touted by Republican congressional leaders—tax reform, entitlement reform, tort reform, deregulation, school choice—don't hold your breath.
