Biden Apologizes for Anti-Semitic Slur
He dropped some Shakespearean lingo that was not well received.
Vice President Joe Biden said Wednesday that it was a "poor choice of words" for him to use the term "Shylocks" in a recent speech.
On Tuesday, Anti-Defamation League's national director Abraham Foxman had said the word "Shylocks" promoted an anti-Semitic stereotype.
"When someone as friendly to the Jewish community and open and tolerant an individual as is Vice President Joe Biden, uses the term 'Shylocked' to describe unscrupulous moneylenders dealing with service men and women, we see once again how deeply embedded this stereotype about Jews is in society," Foxman said in a statement.

Even by Biden standards, this merits a wow.
Hardly.....
Joe Biden is part of the Obama administration because he's a veritable Tesla Battery Giga Factory of embarrassing gaffes!
If Shylock is presumed to be a slur against Jewish people, is Scrooge a slur against...Protestants? The British? Capitalists? Maybe ducks? (apologies to Dickens).
How about we throw away the dramatic outrage and just assume that Shylock refers to a sleazy financial operator regardless of religion?
All of my comments above do not mean that Biden is anything other than sub-epsilon. Biden 2016! 😀
