Second American Sentenced to "Labor Re-Education" Camp in North Korea
California 20-something ripped up his tourist visa and demanded asylum before being arrested, charged, and tried
North Korea sentenced US citizen Matthew Todd Miller to six years hard labour for committing "hostile acts" as a tourist to the country, a statement carried by state media said on Sunday, as the United States requested his immediate pardon and release.
Miller joins Kenneth Bae to become the second American currently serving a hard labour sentence in North Korea. A third, Jeffrey Fowle, is awaiting trial.

I've heard he ripped up his US passport and asked for asylum. Ego is the source for that info? The DPRK? Anyone else that can corroborate that sorry?
Ego=Who.
Miller: I demand asylum.
NORK: Where in fuck do you think you are, you little snot-nosed punk? You don't "demand" one fucking thing here".
