Labor Organizers Promise 'Civil Disobedience' at Fast Food Joints Thursday
Workers were "trained to peacefully engage in civil disobedience".
McDonald's, Wendy's and other fast-food restaurants are expected to be targeted with acts of civil disobedience that could lead to arrests Thursday as labor organizers escalate their campaign to unionize the industry's workers.
Kendall Fells, an organizing director for Fast Food Forward, said in an interview that workers in a couple of dozen cities were trained to peacefully engage in civil disobedience ahead of this week's planned protests.
Fells declined to say what exactly is in store for the protests in around 150 U.S. cities. But workers involved in the movement recently cited sit-ins as an example of strategies they could use to intensify their push for higher pay and unionization. Past protests have targeted a couple of restaurants in each city.

I'm normally pretty miniarchist when it comes to de policeforcegruppen, but when it comes to peaceable assembly by icky labor unions-- and especially those led by overweight black women as pictured (I know what you're going for, Reason mag)-- I'm for zero tolerance. This economy NEEDS MOAR TOP KOCH MEN
Yeah, commie-kid, the SEIU thugs are all about helping the "low-paid" burger flippers:
"First, numerous union negotiated collective bargaining agreements (CBA) tie union member wages to increases in the minimum and living wage. Center for Union Facts research uncovers a number of these contracts. In addition, many CBAs include provisions that reopen contract negotiations whenever there is a change to the federal or state minimum wage."

And all this ignores the fact that raising the M/W is a zero gain; just a different way to debase the currency.

Of course! Parasites don't mind lies.
Looks like I need to do some research and figure out which robotics company to invest in. I see a bright future for the first company to produce an automated fry cook that doesn't come with 6 illegitimate children and an entitlement mentality.
Given your post, i'm sure glad that I've been assured by breitbart.com that only White liberals can be racist because, you know, we want to keep those people on the plantation.
What exactly did I say that was racist?
You know, it says something about you as a person when the words "6 illegitimate children and an entitlement mentality" automatically make you think it refers to a particular race.
Oh, and if you want working in a fast-food restaurant to become a barely viable means of supporting a family instead of the non-viable means of supporting a family that it currently is, you're certainly not concerned with getting anyone off that plantation of yours.
Here's an idea: Instead of forcing businesses to pay unsustainable wages, or instead of subsidizing unskilled workers indefinitely with other people's money, how about offering/mandating attendance at a technical college for non-skilled workers instead? It gives them a chance to better themselves, at minimal expense to everyone else. Want to see who the true plantation owners are? Offer this as an alternative and see who screams the loudest.
Haaahahaa! This is a secret plan encouraged by the food nannies! And the labor thugs fell for it. Awesome.
See, they can't get the people (the REAL people) to stop eating inexpensive fatty salty good-tasting (yes. Good-tasting ENOUGH. If you've only got $5 to eat on, and your choice is between McDonald's or Taco Bell MEAL and a single small artisinal artichoke heart/organic wheat muffin, the muffin is an irrational indulgence...and the fast food tastes pretty damn good) fast food...so they're trying to change the price structure.
It will work, too. I like the occasional cheap fast food indulgence, but double the price and I won't. Problem solved. Not for the workers, of course, but hey...in order to make an organic vegetarian omlette, one must regretfully and gently break a few eggs.
