The department tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that the name Anonymous released is not a Ferguson or a St. Louis County police officer.

Internet hacking group "Anonymous" released Thursday morning on Twitter what they claimed to be the alleged name of the Ferguson police officer who fatally shot 18-year-old Michael Brown last weekend.

The group then warned that they will continue to release the officer's photo, then his address, and finally "full documents" within hours if the St. Louis County Police Department does not respond.

However, the St. Louis County Police Department responded that the name the group posted is false. The department tells the St. Louis Post-Dispatch that the name Anonymous released is not a Ferguson or a St. Louis County police officer.

Bryan Willman is listed as the Communications Supervisor at the Saint Ann Police Department, roughly fifteen minutes away from Ferguson.

      Is he dead yet?

I mean, you release an officer's name to the public and winged demons armed with AK-47s swoop in to cut his head of and piss in his children's cereal, right?

These are not the cops you're looking for. Had to be said, sorry.

This is easy to fix; who is it?

      1. straffinrun   12 years ago

"He's over there!" *points to the left and runs to the right*

So you don't know WIH you're posting about?

          1. straffinrun   12 years ago

Sevo, Your right, they should just release the name of the cop. "These are not the droids your looking for" Obiwon. Star Wars joke, that's all.

So who has more credibility with the angry masses? Of course now a separate police department has an interest in getting Ferguson PD to cough up the correct name. If I was that neighboring police chief, I would pull all my officers till they set the record straight.

That's becaue "Anonymous" are a bunch of idiots.
