Plagiarism Accusation Forces John Walsh Out of Senate Run
Walsh is not resigning his Senate seat.
Montana Democratic Sen. John Walsh announced Thursday that he is dropping out of the Senate race after it became clear that he could not overcome the fallout from a plagiarism scandal.
"The 2007 research paper from my time at the U.S. Army War College has become a distraction from the debate you expect and deserve," Walsh said in a statement. "I am ending my campaign so that I can focus on fulfilling the responsibility entrusted to me as your U.S. Senator. You deserve someone who will always fight for Montana, and I will."
Walsh is not resigning his Senate seat, and will serve out the term that ends in January.

Why did it take him so long to drop out? One stubborn dude.

Imagine how much better off we would be if this was the highest crime these assholes ever committed?
Got to concentrate on padding that nest before he leaves office. The buyers of political influence will be surrounding him for the remainder of his term because they know there is a fire sale going on in his office for his remainding days.
Montana's majority voting population is primarily comprised of hardcore progressive minded "nation builders" who have literally invaded the state from places like Seattle, San Francisco, Portland and on and on. They'll just replace Walsh with an even worse, far more "progressive" fecal-wart who will better serve their vile little master-plan.
Well, we've had a poor choice in Montana between Democrat Walsh and Republican Daines for the US Senate. The former appears slightly retarded and the latter looks as if he has a broomstick permanently inserted up his rear end. I can't help but suspect the Dems sabotaged poor Walsh so they can find a more suitable stooge (Can they find one?) as a replacement.
Notice that plagiarizing is a 'distraction.'
What's the big deal? Didn't Biden plagiarize and look at him now!
