Penn Jillette Issues a Challenge to Bruce Springsteen: 'Let's see who gets laid first!'
One of the many fun parts about doing The Independents is the online-only aftershows on Monday and Tuesday nights, which are comparatively, ah, unstructured. Sometimes it's scatterbrained, sometimes it's intense, sometimes it gets surprisingly heavily into religion, and when you've got Penn Jillette, it might just be all three.
Watch our favorite Vegas-actor talk about "gospel magic," Tim's Vermeer, the "genius" trap, nude beaches, and the inability of magicians to get girls, below:
(Careful, the clip repeats after the 10:28 mark.) Buncha other great Indies vids here:

I watched the 'vermeer' movie the other night. Its great, highly recommended.
I'm on a waiting list for it at my library. Wanted to go see it at the theater, but the window was open very briefly for that.
Netflix doesn't have it?
I can rent it on Instant Video, I think, but I'm fine getting some of my tax dollars back.
I streamed it. Netflix, I think.
I like the action shot of Penn running after his chair. Camera crew is all aces.
Also can't The Independents afford a studio with level floors? And if not perhaps having chairs with wheels on hard floors in not such a good idea.
