Rep. Amash Shows Big Lead in Latest Primary Poll
60 percent to 12 percent right now
Rep. Justin Amash (R-Mich.) has a commanding lead in his primary, according to a poll conducted by the Club for Growth, which is backing the congressman.
Amash has a 60 percent to 12 percent lead over Brian Ellis (R), according to the poll, and his approval rating is 61 percent with Republicans in the district.
Partisan polls, especially ones conducted just on one day, should always be viewed with some skepticism. But a 48-point lead is a huge gap for Ellis to overcome between now and the August 5 primary.

Shocking: the people of Michigan like the only honest politician they've ever had.
