  1. Fist of Etiquette   12 years ago

Cosplay or furries? You be the judge.

    1. Wasteland Wanderer   12 years ago

      Why can't it be both?

    2. UnCivilServant   12 years ago

I thought it was Zombie Ben Franklin, Chris Christie and something out of Chicago.

      1. Almanian!   12 years ago

Also, excellent call re: Zombie BF. I see it...good eye.

    3. waffles   12 years ago

Aren't all furries cosplayers? Anthropomorphic animal people don't really exist do they?

      1. UnCivilServant   12 years ago

The goal of GMO farming is to have Anthropomorphic animal people care for the animal-animals.

        1. Suthenboy   12 years ago

          Dr. Moreau approves.

  2. Ted S.   12 years ago

That's Chip Bok on the right with what he's calling lipstick, and the H&R readership on the left, saying "NEEDZ MOAR LABELZ". The thing with the "Farm Bill" sign around its neck is a Macguffin.

    1. SugarFree   12 years ago

      Egg McGuffin.

      1. Swiss Servator, Befehl!   12 years ago

        You...I mean...just...

*shakes head slowly and reaches for coffee mug*

        1. SugarFree   12 years ago

          Motivate yourself to find deliciousness.

          1. Swiss Servator, Befehl!   12 years ago

I would seek single malt to add to my coffee - but I have some work to do...

            1. SugarFree   12 years ago

The only real labor is having to go through the day sober.

  3. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

Not only is Bok not funny, he's crappy at cosmetics.

    1. mr simple   12 years ago

      I feel so disillusioned.

  4. UnCivilServant   12 years ago

You leave Chris Christie alone, he's not a farm bill.

Also, why does zombie Ben Franklin have a hand on the end of his nose?

  5. Pompey   12 years ago

This one is so. .....meh..... I got nothing. I don't think you can top furrie cosplay.

    1. Pompey   12 years ago

I thought hockey moms were pitbulls! Hurrrr!

Why don't those bipedal aliums use a stencil? Kekeke

    2. Tonio   12 years ago

Someone always has to be top, Pompey.

  6. Almanian!   12 years ago

    Wretched - therefore, perfect.

KNOW WHAT THE DIFFERENCE IS??!! LIPSTICK!!!

I must give kudos to Bok for the somewhat-meta use of the conversation bubble to label the lipstick rather than using an actual label. In fact, other than Farm Bill's snout and namesign/tag, this is sort of a No Labels? cartoon.

But otherwise, as noted - wretched.

    Happy Friday, Reasonoids

    1. Snark Plissken   12 years ago

He just need to explain that the pig represented the farm bill using extemporaneous dialogue and it would've been perfect.

      1. Almanian!   12 years ago

Always reaching perfection, yet it's always - just - out of reach.

        Thus is man's condition evermore...

Plus Bok and Payne suck - duh!

        1. Almanian!   12 years ago

          "reaching FOR"

          Seewhutamean?

          1. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

I bet you're the kind of guy who would fuck a person in the ass and not even have the goddamn common courtesy to give him a reach-around. Or long enough arms.

            1. Almanian!   12 years ago

              SIR YES....I MEAN MA'AM, YES MA'AM!

              1. invisible furry hand   12 years ago

Ma'am what? Were you about to call me an asshole?

      2. Sunmonocle Backwards Tophat   12 years ago

I half expected a farmer with a "Bill" name tag selling pork, with a price tag attached to the elephant showing he's for sale. Maybe next week.

Also, was anyone else uncomfortable with the RACISM of having small ears on the elephant, implying Asian rather than African?

  7. Andrew S.   12 years ago

You people disgust me. Insulting that poor pig by comparing it to Chris Christie.

Am I the only one who considers "Bipartisan" to be one of the scariest words in the political language?

    1. Almanian!   12 years ago

You are among friends re: "bipartisan".

"TWO dicks in my ass. Thanks for the warning..."

    2. Snark Plissken   12 years ago

Your intolerance of anything other than heteronormative-partisans absolutely disgusts me.

      1. Andrew S.   12 years ago

Fuck. I forgot to check my heteronormative cis white male privilege. Sorry.

    3. Steve G   12 years ago

Scary? no. Uber transparent and highly insulting? Yes

Makes me think of paleo baked goods. If you've got to put "paleo" in the recipe title ("Paleo muffins", Paleo pancakes") then you can rest assured it's not paleo, just grain-free.

    4. SugarFree   12 years ago

Bipartisan: A Hatefuck You Get To Pay For

  8. Hillary's Clitdong   12 years ago

    NEEDZ MOAR LIPSTICK

  9. Longtorso, Johnny   12 years ago

I can't even work myself into a hateful rage about the bad cartoons anymore.

    1. Swiss Servator, Befehl!   12 years ago

Search your feelings...let the hate flow!

      1. Ted S.   12 years ago

        Just let your hate flow,
        Like a mountain stream,
        And let your hate grow
        With the smallest of things

  10. wareagle   12 years ago

why is John Kerry still the symbol of Dems in Congress?

    1. UnCivilServant   12 years ago

He's too archetypical, they can't help it.

  11. gaijin   12 years ago

    HOw does that pig snort?

    1. Tonio   12 years ago

In the same way that the donkey's hooves have become hands, I presume.

      1. gaijin   12 years ago

True. And at least those hooves are cloven into five rather than the usual four. Attention to details is the hallmark of something.

  12. Smilin' Joe Fission   12 years ago

Dude thats one big pig man, I meaqn like wow.

    http://www.Anon-Bots.tk

    1. Tonio   12 years ago

      +1 Dr. Krieger

    2. UnCivilServant   12 years ago

      Nooooooooooooo! Not Smilin' Joe

Oh the Humanity, why must AnonBot corrupt us all?

      1. Smilin' Joe Fission   12 years ago

Just role with it man LOL

        http://www.Anon-Wife.com

      2. Swiss Servator, Befehl!   12 years ago

Soemtimes you jsut have to roll with it!

  13. Fist of Etiquette   12 years ago

I don't know why all the complaints. This is a perfectly serviceable cartoon. Completely adequate.

    1. Tonio   12 years ago

Damning with faint praise, eh, Fisty?

    2. UnCivilServant   12 years ago

We're trying to provide supplimental humor like the two old muppets in the theatre.

      1. Swiss Servator, Befehl!   12 years ago

        +1

  14. creech   12 years ago

This is great political cartooning compared to the prog dreck from, say, Rogers in Pgh. Post-Gazette.

  15. BigT   12 years ago

Now, here is a good cartoon.

    1. lap83   12 years ago

I like it, but I have to admit my first thought was "Jobs"+red Jesus speech text= Apple fanboy. But then I noticed the labels had nothing to do with Samsung and I figured it out.

  16. GILMORE   12 years ago

    I don't get it.
