Al Qaeda-Linked Group Claims Responsibility For Cairo Bombings
Attack condemned by the Muslim Brotherhood
An al-Qaeda-inspired militant group Ansar Beit al-Maqdis claims that it has carried out a deadly bomb attack on police headquarters in Cairo.
The Muslim Brotherhood condemned the attack saying they wanted a "peaceful revolution".
Cairo residents working near the city's police headquarters have been reacting to what happened.
One man who worked next door said: "We didn't realise what had gone on, the metal doors of our shops were blown out, the windows, the glass… everything was destroyed, I wonder what on earth happened to the policemen who were at the scene."
Another elderly man sobbed, "There is too much evil in the world and not enough good."
