"Password" Falls to Second Most Popular Password of 2013; 123456 Takes the Lead
12345678 remains the third most popular
In the wake of recent high-profile security hacks at retailers and major companies, password security is more important than ever. That's why you may be surprised to see the list of the 25 most common passwords of 2013.
As CBS News reports, according to password management company SplashData, the top three passwords of the year are "123456," "password" and "12345678."
