Thousands of Muslims in CAR Protest Disarmament Operation Carried Out By French Troops
Say the troops are only there to protect Christians
Several thousand Muslims on Sunday gathered in the Central African Republic's capital Bangui to protest a disarmament operation conducted by French soldiers.
The demonstration, staged by supporters of former rebel group Seleka, marked the most significant show of hostility towards France since it deployed troops on December 5 to end the chaos that followed Seleka's coup in March.
