NJ Sen. Menendez Gets Engaged
Popped the question Monday
New Jersey Sen. Bob Menendez popped the question to girlfriend Alicia Mucci in the Capitol Rotunda Monday.
Menendez, who has two children from his first marriage, celebrated his engagement at the White House Congressional Ball, hosted by Joe Biden since President Obama traveled to South Africa for Nelson Mandela's funeral.
The news was first reported by Politico's Mike Allen but Tuesday morning, Menendez took to Twitter to thank "my family & friends for their love & congrats."
