Obama: Affordable Care Act Not Getting Repealed While I'm President

President Barack Obama said his signature health care reform law is going nowhere as long as he's in office, and he'll spend the remainder of his presidency fighting to make it work if he has to.

"Do not let the initial problems with the website discourage you, because it's working better now, and it's just going to keep on working better over time," Obama said at an event at the White House intended to promote the health law and its benefits.

Good.
He deserves to have that piece of crap hung around his neck until he can't stand the smell of it.
And while he's involved in damage control on this, he's not likely to cause a whole lot more harm.

Don't forget the possibility that once people discover that Insurance is not the same as health care and they still can't afford to pay the deductibles or copays after paying the Premium that things could very easily go so badly for Obamacare that a veto proof majority emerges from the 2014 midterms

The danger is that it becomes bad enough that the case for a single payer system becomes more attractive to the masses.

He's not going to suffer financial damage.
But it's obvious the slings and arrows are beginning to hit home. Good. His legacy should be held up as the disaster it is and he should pay the moral price for jamming it down our throats.

I wonder if he's even dimly aware of what's happening. Or has he surrounded himself by such a thick pool of Yes men that he truly isn't cognizant of the likely long term effects.

You would think that the polling numbers would wake someone up, but I think they've all deluded themselves that once Obamacare kicks in, everyone will suddenly love it. The administration still thinks Obamacare will "work" if they just market it correctly.
