Sochi Olympics Drug-Testing Lab Loses Accreditation
Could be a problem with anti-doping fight
Russia's preparations for the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics have hit another bump in the road.
The World Anti-Doping Agency has provisionally suspended accreditation for the laboratory that will oversee drug testing during the Games, demanding that troublesome issues be addressed.
The Moscow Antidoping Center has until Dec. 1 to show that it has hired independent experts to assist in quality management at the facility. It has until Apr. 1, 2014, to prove to WADA that its results are accurate and reliable.
