Police in Pennsylvania Say They Found Hit and Run Suspect Using Google Earth

A man is in custody in connection with a hit-and-run that left a man critically injured in Harmar Township Friday,
According to police, the accident happened around 7:15 a.m. near the intersection of Route 910 and Freeport Road.

This implies Google Earth has real time imagery, or they got extremely lucky to have fresh imagery taken in that very short time window. I wonder what the real story is.
