    IT'S NOT A FINE IT'S A TAX!!!

    1. Doctor Whom   12 years ago

      It's a fine! It's a tax! It's a floor wax! It's a dessert topping!

    2. Super Hans   12 years ago

      Well, it's a fine tax.

  2. Fist of Etiquette   12 years ago

The IRS is saying you get a free invisible dildo with each purchase.

    1. Live Free or Diet   12 years ago

      It's neither invisible nor free.

(Oh boy. What auto-correct normally does to me I'm doing to myself this morning. I had to fix three out of five of those words.)

      1. Snark Plissken   12 years ago

But that hand looks rather furry.

        1. Fist of Etiquette   12 years ago

The OP is wrong, I think that's the IRS making the jerk-off motion because he knows this customer isn't going to buy anything, he's just going to pay the fine and continue using his TracFone.

          1. Snark Plissken   12 years ago

The OP, sir, is a cad and a bounder.

  3. John Galt   12 years ago

An Obamacare a day will keep alot of doctors away from the medical profession.

  4. db   12 years ago

Is Long-Necked-Pursed-Lip Man Bok's Mary Sue?

  5. Gweskoyen   12 years ago

Nobody needs medical insurance, until they need it.

    1. Jordan   12 years ago

      And?

      1. Ska   12 years ago

Gweskoyen figured out medical insurance is insurance.

        1. Snark Plissken   12 years ago

After all, you know, there are worse things in life than death. I mean, if you've ever spent an evening with an insurance salesman, you know exactly what I mean. The key here, I think, is to... to not think of death as an end, but think of it more as a very effective way of cutting down on your expenses.

          1. Drake   12 years ago

You have obviously never seen the estate process in Massachusetts.

    2. Floridian   12 years ago

Well actually nobody needs insurance. They may need medical care, but they have the option of paying out of pocket if they forgo buying protection.

      1. Gilbert Martin   12 years ago

"They may need medical care, but they have the option of paying out of pocket if they forgo buying protection."

You mean like 99.9% of the U.S. population did from the inception of the country up until the wage controls implemented in WW2 started companies offering health insurance as an unccapped benefit to get around the restriction?

Why that would be totally unthinkable and irresponsible!

Haven't you read the historical accounts and seen the pictures of the massive piles of dead bodies constantly stacked up on every street corner and in front of hospitals from the first nanosecond the Constitution was ratifed up until 1941?

        1. creech   12 years ago

Just during 1861-1865. But that was when the whole country went insane.

  6. Swiss Servator, Kneel to Zug!   12 years ago

THE TRIUMPHANT RETURN OF BOK!!! Take that, Payne!

  7. Jeff   12 years ago

Now show us what it would be like Friday Funnies were really funny.

    1. Almanian!   12 years ago

I'm hearing you say that in Rocket J. Squirrel's voice.

    2. Rich   12 years ago

      "You can't *handle* the humor!"

  8. Almanian!   12 years ago

    Um, no.

    Also, not funny.

Obvious Almanian is obvious. Happy Friday, Reasonoids.

  9. Heroic Mulatto   12 years ago

WHY DOES THE MAN IN BLUE HAVE A HAIRY SCROTUM ON HIS CHIN????

    1. Almanian!   12 years ago

Boy With Balls On Chin Grows Up

      1. Finrod   12 years ago

        Kay, he's a ballchinian!

    2. H. ReardEn   12 years ago

The better to fuck you with.

    3. Anomalous   12 years ago

Apparently, a hairy scrotum chin is what you need to work at the Moron Bar.

  10. Auric Demonocles   12 years ago

If you like your phone plan, you can keep your phone plan*. But not the alt-text.

*Not, phone plans which do not include unlimited data, unlimited texts, $0 copays for iPhone upgrades, iPhones in general, coverage for preexisting phone calls, or Farmville aps do not count as real phone plans.

  11. John   12 years ago

I think this one is okay. Come on guys, grade on the curve here.

    1. BakedPenguin   12 years ago

      I second this - it's not bad.

      1. Auric Demonocles   12 years ago

It would have been OK, but turning in an assignment without alt-text is an instant fail. It's on the syllabus.

        1. John   12 years ago

          Join the Alt Text Revolution!!

  12. Swiss Servator, Kneel to Zug!   12 years ago

    OT: http://www.smh.com.au/world/ke.....2uymp.html

"This looting has got to stop!

    It is customary.

It is theft! And theft makes thieves.

    It is their payment, Colonel.

    Payment?

Truly, are not British soldiers paid?

They don't go home when they've been paid!

    They are not free to."

    1. John   12 years ago

Traditionally soldiers have been allowed three days of looting after taking a besieged city. So, I guess in 2013, a shopping mall is analogous.

      1. Agammamon   12 years ago

Yeah, that's supposed to be an *enemy* city, not your own people.

        1. John   12 years ago

Modern police and militarys have a broad view of who the "enemy" is.

    2. Bardas Phocas   12 years ago

In American, the Imperial Stormtroopers havent even missed a paycheck yet and they're shooting random black people.

Just the way of the Thug Life.

  13. Bardas Phocas   12 years ago

In better comic news - del Toro does Simpson openning credits.
Best Simpsons, which sucks but I haven't watched in a decade.

  14. Juice   12 years ago

Holy crap. It's a cartoon on Hit and Run that's actually pithy.

  15. Ted S.   12 years ago

What isn't better than a Chip Bok cartoon? Other than an evening with Warty, of course.

  16. Almanian!   12 years ago

    Biiiiite the Big Apple
    Don't mind the maggots...

    Shadoobie

    Shattered

  17. Snark Plissken   12 years ago

Holy shit, amazing how much better that is.

  18. PapayaSF   12 years ago

I disagree. The Bok is better and the best of his I've seen in a while. I know we all rag on him around here, but this is a good one.

  19. Swiss Servator, Kneel to Zug!   12 years ago

An evening with Warty and STEVE SMITH?

  20. John   12 years ago

Well, Obama is his father's son.

  21. BakedPenguin   12 years ago

    Ramirez is pretty consistently good.
