Texas Declares Roadside Prada Storefront an Illegal Ad
Pop art installation going back to 2005
Texas officials say the Prada Marfa is an illegal roadside advertisement and is considering what to do about the iconic West Texas structure.
The shack-sized Prada Marfa was installed in 2005 along a rural U.S highway. It resembles a storefront of the high-end Italian fashion brand.
It came under scrutiny this summer after Playboy installed a 40-foot sign with a neon-lit bunny nearby.
