Al Qaeda affiliate claimed responsibility for an assault on a mall in Nairobi that led to a three day stand off

The president of Somalia says the group claiming responsibility for the weekend terrorist attack at a Kenyan mall presents a threat not just to Africa but to the entire world.

Kenyan authorities say dozens of people have died in the attack. Somali militant group al-Shabab (ahl-shah-BAHB') has claimed responsibility.
