Calif. Lawmaker Says He Once Arm-Wrestled Putin (and Lost)
Alcohol was involved
Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-Calif.) said in an interview Thursday that he once lost an arm-wrestling match to Russian President Vladimir Putin after "having a little too much to drink" at a pub.
"We started arguing about who won the Cold War," the 13-term congressman told California's KPCC radio, according to audio posted by BuzzFeed. "We decided to settle it the way men do when they had too much to drink in the pub. So we got down to these arm-wrestling matches."
