OCALA, Fla.—Ocala police are searching for the man who stole at 20 turtles at gunpoint from another man selling them in a parking lot, along with $500.

Police said the 41-year-old Citra man was selling yellow belly baby turtles with his 11-month-old son in a K-Mart parking lot in the 3700 block of East Silver Springs Boulevard when two men walked up at 6:30 p.m. Sunday and asked for the price of one of turtles.

The seller told the men the price was $10 per turtle and the men became agitated, calling it a "rip-off," police said. One of the men pulled out a gun on the victim, who was holding his son, and took 20 turtles and $500 in cash.
